The River House Experience combines history, nature, tranquility, hiking, road trip, and fun. An important part of the local 'paisa' lifestyle is the 'finca' culture, or country houses, being in nature, disconnecting from the city noise, enjoying a drink and some great food, listening to the birds singing. This region also shows us great colonial heritage which is not easy to find anymore in modern-day Colombia. The trip is completely private and customized, travelers can modify the tour as they like. Our transportation is a comfortable SUV with AC. Colombia Bliss also provides our guests a personalized drone footage of the trip, so visitors will have this unforgettable memory recorded.

Visiting the Old Hanging Bridge, Santa Fé de Antioquia old town, then we head to the River House

We cross the bridge walking, heading up to the view point, then taking tuk tuks to travel to Santa Fé de Antioquia old town. The Old Hanging Bridge, which is a remarkable testament to engineering prowess and architectural beauty, built in the late 19th century, crossing the Cauca river.
Santa Fe de Antioquia
We visit Santa Fe de Antioquia, founded in 1541, was once the capital of Antioquia before Medellín assumed that role. This colonial town is a living museum, with cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings adorned with wooden balconies, and a picturesque main square. Its rich history is palpable as you stroll through its well-preserved streets, lined with centuries-old churches, museums, and charming plazas. We walk around, have lunch, coffee, then we head back to the bridge where we left the car, and continue our journey.
We arrive to Olaya, historical small village built by the Spanish conquerors in 1773. We have a short walk, have a nice fruit juice, and then we drive to the River House, where we spend the night.
The program: chilling in the pool, short hike, and a wine tour at the neighbouring vineyard

The program for day 2 is: breakfast at the house, chilling in the pool, short hike to the river.
We check out Vina Sicilia, the vineyard next door at the riverbank, and have a wine tour there. In the afternoon we travel back to Medellín.

5.00It was a great trip with Marton and Colombia Bliss, my kids had fun riding the tuk-tuks to Santa Fé, and enjoying the pool at the River House. Altogether a great experience to escape the city and get to know the countryside where there are no foreign tourists. I can only recommend this trip to everyone.

5.00We traveled with Marton to Olaya, with my small kids. Everything went super easy, the whole program was very family friendly, my children loved the tuk tuk ride, also the pool. I only can recommend this tour and also Colombia Bliss, very well-organised company. Thanks guys!

5.00We were looking for a tour to visit Santa Fe de Antioquia, as we have heard it is a real gem. Then we saw the river house tour by Colombia Bliss, which is 2 days long, so we decided to go for that, as we always wanted to stay at a 'finca' in Colombia. We really enjoyed it, Santa Fé is truly amazing, and we had a fun tuk-tuk ride as well from the bridge. The summer house is also a great spot at the River Cauca, with beautiful views, nature, a very nice pool and heat, good place for some cocktails. I recommend this tour for people looking for something different, and not just for a 1-day trip, it is worth it.
The Colombian countryside is the best!

5.00We have traveled with my friends to Olaya and Santa Fe de Antioquia with Marton and Colombia Bliss, what an experience! People still have the concept of Colombia being dangerous, but this is not true. The nicest people I have ever met are the Colombians. Santa Fe and Olaya are charming small towns with a lot of colonial architecture and history. Marton is a great guide, very knowledgeable and flexible. We loved the river house, modern facilities, AC, great pool to chill and have some beers, great BBQ! Altogether amazing trip, highly recommended. Marton thank you so much! See you next time!

5.00We went for the river house experience with Colombia Bliss, to get out of the city, and see the unbeaten path a little bit for ourselves. It was worth it! Santa Fe is a charming little town full of history, the river house is a nice summer house far from civilization, surrounded by mango forest and the view of the Cauca River. Marton is a very knowledgeable guide, he even cooked a barbeque dinner for us. We enjoyed some cocktails and the pool. On the second day, we visited the vineyard next to our house, and there was a really interesting Mediterranean feeling there. If you want to do something unique close to Medellín, I can recommend this tour.

5.00I had the River House Experience with Márton and Colombia Bliss, and also other tours in Antioquia close to Medellin, we also traveled to the Amazon jungles, what an experience of a lifetime!! Colombia is such an amazing country, and the friendliest people on the planet I am sure. Marton is a very cool guide, well prepared, very flexible, we could modify our itinerary as it suited our mood at the moment, highly recommended. Everyone should visit Colombia.
If someone wants to get to know Colombia through a quality program, don't hesitate!

5.00We had an amazing time during this tour with our guide Márton! After a few days in Medellín, it was the perfect way to relax while discovering one of the many gems Colombia has to offer. Santa Fé is a beautiful colonial town that is fun to explore, and our guide knew the places to be. The house was modern and comfortable, private while providing stunning views of the nearby river. The pool was great given the heat. We'd definitely do it again!!

5.00This was truly different. The house is the perfect spot to relax and have a BBQ, we also did the wine tour closeby and it was surprisingly good...who knew there was such great wine in Colombia. The views across the river were amazing and the villages nearby very authentic. Our guide was Marton (ask for him when booking). He knows the area around Medellin really well and was flexible enough to arrange for a quick history tour in Santa Fe de Antioquia on our way to the River house. All in all I am glad we booked the tour, learned a lot, had some fun and got to know some amazing locations that we would never have found out about ourselves. Thanks Colombia Bliss!
