We went on the Soho Music and Historic Pubs Walking Tour and had a great time! Our tour guide, Henry, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We tried a half pint of beer at each pub and heard some interesting stories and cool facts.

My wife arranged for a tour with Aiden for my 50th birthday, as I’m a huge Clash fan, and I could not have hoped for for a better, funnier, more informative experience. Aiden brought me on a walking tour all around the areas around Ladbroke Grove, Maida Vale, The Westway, all the time telling stories and yarns that you wouldn’t get anywhere else, it was less of a tour more of a chat with a great bloke who knew the area like the back of his hand, knew all the characters , all the stories you wouldn’t hear from your everyday tour. Aiden loves his music, loves his city, his community and it shines through on this tour. For anyone interested in the Clash, Joe Strummer and any associated London music, Aiden is the perfect guide. Like I said, just like having a chat with an old friend

Time extremely well spent for clash fans and anyone that enjoys culture and history. Aidan's personal connection to the area animated the history of the band and this part of London in exciting and often hilarious ways

Aiden was the quintessential guid for this tour. He has literally walked the walk and talks the talk of all things 70s and 80s punk rock London. As huge Clash enthusiasts my husband and I absolutely loved the tour, the locations and the real life personal anecdotes. We really appreciated the insights into the squatters life in North Kensington and the accompanying historical photos to show exactly where we’re were from various clash photoshoots. Would highly recommend this tour. We’re keen to do another with Aiden!

As a Clash fan for many decades, I was genuinely excited when I discovered the Strummerwalk, and a couple of weeks ago we finally got round to doing it. Having read all the excellent reviews here, expectations were high when we met Aidan – and I wasn’t disappointed. If you’d like to hear fun and fascinating stories about Joe Strummer and The Clash, visit key locations from their career, learn about this part of London in the 70s and 80s, hear about other music history from the area, or simply enjoy a great walk with a really top bloke, this tour is for you. Of all the things I’ve done and seen in London, this has been my favourite. If you’re even thinking about doing this walk, I’d say just go for it – it’s well worth the time and the money. Next time I’m in London, I’ll definitely be doing the Soho punk tour.

I’ve now done two of Aidan’s tours, the Soho Punk tour a few years back and just completed the Strummer Walk this past Saturday. As someone who’s deeply into punk history and The Clash, I can’t recommend these experiences highly enough. The Strummer Walk is absolutely brilliant. Aidan doesn’t just show you where Joe lived or where iconic photos were taken - he brings the whole era to life. His firsthand knowledge of what Ladbroke Grove was actually like in the 70s and 80s gives you a perspective you simply can’t get from books or documentaries. We covered everything from the squatter scene to recording studios to the pubs where it all went down, and even as someone who’s studied this era extensively, I learned so much I didn’t know. What makes Aidan exceptional is his storytelling, he’s hilarious, pulls no punches, and has a knack for busting myths while sharing the real stories. He’s lived in the area and was there during the scene, so you’re getting authentic history, not just a standard guided tour. The tour runs over two hours but honestly feels like hanging out with a mate who happens to know everything about The Clash. Even if you’re not a die-hard punk fan, Aidan’s tours are incredibly engaging. He weaves in the social history, the neighborhood’s evolution, and London’s cultural landscape in a way that’s fascinating whether you know every Clash B-side or you’re just curious about the city’s music history. If you’re in London and care at all about punk history, music history, or just want to see a side of London most tourists miss, check out Aidan’s tours. Based on the two I’ve done, they’re all probably fantastic.

This is an excellent tour! Aidan is very knowledgeable and was part of the scene when Joe and the rest of The Clash, and other bands, got their start in Ladbroke Grove and surrounding area. You could feel the history as he brought you to each site and explained the significance. Loved it!
