It was a wonderful experience...to walk-through the side streets & sample the pastries while learning about Paris. Thomas was very friendly & knowledgeable.

Alpha was AMAZING! She knew the area, the background/history of the area and pastries and was just all around awesome for our family of 4 (kids 8 and 10) - we loved the tour and the treats!!

Our guide was friendly and personable, however, her knowledge, unfortunately from our point of view was general; it did not feel like an "off the beaten path" tour giving us more information that only a local could present. She did take us to a nice macaron shop which was great and better than others in Paris; a Jewish bake shop that specialized in eclairs which we later consumed and found to be "ok", nothing special; but the highlight of this tour was a very nice, long established confectionery shop, Meert, which was very special; a must visit! We did not think the price of the tour was worth what was experienced. After the tour we stayed in the neighborhood on our own and found a great restaurant, Au Bourguignon, and had the best hamburger ever, along with a very good onion soup and cheese platter! The servings were most generous and we would suggest that you consider sharing the entrees.

Gelsomina is so amazing! An expert in Pastry and the history around it. It was a total pleasure. We were expertly and effortlessly led and explained more than just sweets. The light rain added to the experience.
