This is a tour, that will take you to the forgotten beauty’s of the island. Starting in the South, going throughout the mountains, passing some off our special roads and offloads in our woods. Once on the top of the mountains, we will find the amazing forest of Fanal, where we have ancient trees, that will for sure, trigger your interest. From here on, we will descent to the North side of the island, where you have the opportunity to go for a swim in our natural lavapools. After a refreshing dip, our tour will take us to the West side of the island, passing some lovely views, to slowly come to an end, at the most Western point of the island, Ponta do Pargo.

What To Expect
Posto Florestal Fanal
The beautiful forest of fanal, will amaze you with the prehistoric trees, which you will find there. The route that leads to this great location will go through the woods, with a nice off-road and will make us come out in Paul Da Serra.
Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools
After a half-hour drive, we arrive in Porto Moniz, where you can all enjoy the lava pools. If you don't want to swim, we have beautiful viewpoints and of course the opportunity to have a drink.

5.00Had a fantastic tour yesterday with Christopher, who was accompanied by his daughter Aurora. Lovely name, by the way! Particularly liked that the tour included parts of the island we have not seen/been to before visiting less touristy parts. What lovely people Christopher and Aurora were, it was a pleasure having their company for the day. Chris was very informative about the island and has an extensive knowledge of this beautiful island he can call home. Very lucky indeed! We highly recommend this tour and all others with Christopher. The green jeep was great fun 😁. Nothing was too much trouble. Christopher truly wants you to have the best experience. Kim and Wayne.

5.00We’ ve met Chris in 2022. This was our third tour with Chris and we enjoyed it very much. Chris knows a lot about Madeira, shows you the real Madeira and Chris is friendly en fun. We’ll be back at the island in september 2025 and can’t wait to meet up with him again an go on a tour!

5.00It was a great tour and a great day. Chris is the perfect travel guide. With it you can see places in Madeira that otherwise remain hidden. His Jeep drives through every off-road track. Its Belgian charm and way of telling the story of Madeira make it very entertaining. Can definitely be recommended!

5.00Amazing Tour!!! Everyone who wants to see the Island should do it, the Guide/Driver Christopher is AWESOME, FUNNY and knows a lot of "tourist free" and hidden locations. Definitely worth it!!!
