Waffles ’n Beer was a highlight of our June trip through Bruges for three generations of our family. My wife and I, my parents, and our 5‑year‑old all got in on the fun—she happily sipped apple juice while we sampled some great beers. The waffles were great and they send you home with the recipe. We’ve already recreated them a few times at home and highly recommend this experience

Very cozy! Nothing is too much. They are also generous with drink. You're not short of anything. Good preparation, so everyone could get to work

My wife scheduled this event and I wondered; how does savory beer match up with sweet Bruges waffles? The answer? Very Well! Köen led us on a journey of beer, waffle, and Bruges cuisine as we tasted a variety of beers while preparing our waffles. The end result was a tasty delight complemented by local Belgian brews. My wife enjoy and take cooking classes for fun and this was an all time fav. Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked this experience for our trip to Bruges. This was such a fun experience. Our host was fanatic and we learned a lot about beer, waffles, and Bruges in general. The small group setting was also nice because we got to meet others visiting Bruges.

If you are on a cruise and the port closes they will not give you a credit or refund your $. I do not recommend this provider as they would not consider a refund.

***This review is regarding the inflexibility of Viator and the tour operator-not the tour itself***. Unfortunately we were unable to attend. We were coming to Zeebrugge on Princess Cruise Lines from Southampton. Due to hazardous weather with high winds causing dangerous sailing conditions, the cruise line elected to cancel our embarkation on day 1, and we spent the night in the Southampton port instead, and yeah it was as fun as it sounds. The cruise line did not inform the passengers until after we boarded. Because of the weather, the berth the ship was supposed to be in was moved and they lacked access to all security lines for embarkation- thus delaying us getting to our stateroom, where we found a type memo on Princess letterhead informing us of the cancellation of our stop. Our tour was scheduled for 130pm the following day and I contacted Viator immediately about the change. At this point it was approximate 215pm (45 mins outside the cancelation window). I uploaded supporting documents to Viator about the change in itinerary and the tour operator refused to work with us and we lost our money on the tour. It is incredibly disappointing that neither Viator nor the tour operator offered any support whatsoever due to circumstances beyond our control. This was going to be the highlight of our day in Zeebrugge. Again, I’m sure the activity itself was fun and delicious, so this is all about the tour operator and Viator inflexibility, so–good for you, tour operator in sticking to the fine print.

This was a fantastic experience and our instructor (I forget her name) was amazing. She was so informative about the city and provided a great experience for us. We sampled different beers, along with making waffles. The batch even made a bunch of extras! It was also intimate where there were a ton of people in the workshop so it worked very well! I’d recommend this experience to everyone!

An absolute must when in Bruges! Supper dog friendly as well so we didn’t have to leave our pup in the hotel. Our group was great!
