We went on 2025-08-14 with Agnes Sampson and had a great time, she was a lovely guide and the stops and the stories were really everything we were after. Only giving it four stars because I thought there were about 30%-50% too many people booked into the group considering the spaces we were in.

Fun history and ghost stories. A walk around the city, in back alleys and underground caverns. Also a spooky graveyard.

I had an absolutely fantastic time on the haunted tour with Queen Mary of Scots! She struck the perfect balance between being knowledgeable, spooky, and funny. The hour-and-a-half walk was filled with fascinating (and chilling) facts about Edinburgh’s haunted history, and she delivered each story with great energy and presence. Despite the bustle of the Fringe Festival going on around us, she kept the group engaged and made sure everyone was comfortable and settled before starting. Her ability to weave history, humour, and a bit of fright together made the experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend joining her tour if you want to explore the darker, more mysterious side of Edinburgh! 👻
