Leave Tirana on day one and head toward the North of Albania. Drive on the road to Theth and upon reaching the destination, be welcomed by a local family in their guesthouse. Hike to the beautiful Gurnas waterfall after breakfast at the guesthouse. Enjoy a leisurely 45-min walk from the center of the village to the waterfall. Visit also the Catholic Church of Theth on the trip out of Theth and see the Lock-in Tower. With more than 4 centuries of history, this building is the symbol of settling the Blood Feuds in Albania. Blue Eye of Theth
After breakfast will drive with the local van to Nderlysaj, 45 min. There will start the hiking to Blue Eye. It will take 1 hour hiking to Blue Eye and 40 min to return. Stop in the the stone groves of Nderlysaj. Lunch in Nderlysaj. 15.00 Return to Theth and take our car to drive back to Shkoder and Tirana. Walk through Shkoder and take in some of the most interesting parts of the city, including the most famous “Pedonale”, a pedestrian-friendly area with bars and restaurants. Stop at the Castle of Rozafa oin Shkoder Learn about the castle’s role in Albanian history, dating from the Antiquity and the Illiryan-Roman wars, and see the castle, built over the top of a hill. Discover the fascinating legends of the Albanian Epos and how it relates to the castle’s history. About 18.00 drive Back to Tirana.

5.00We did the 2 days tour to Theth and Shkoder and it was amazing. Bleddar was great, he was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He planned everything taking care of every detail. Drove us to Theth, we stayed in guesthouse there and arranged a big delicious dinner for us, he made sure that everything was good for us, he planned all the hikings to the Blue eye and the waterfall which were amazing and beautiful, we also visited the lock in tower and we had an historical explanation from the local who owns the tower, which was very interesting. Bleddar also showed us Skodra lake and Rozafa castle which were beautiful. He explained to us the history and answered all the questions that we had. Such a lovely guide and person. I highly recommend him!! Thanks a lot for everything! Silvia and Henry
