5.00Marjan was truly one of the best guides I have ever had on any of my travels around the world. He is definitely in my personal top three guides of all time. From the moment the day started, he created a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Even during the drive, he made an effort to connect people, encourage conversations, and help everyone feel comfortable. Thanks to him, the group quickly felt relaxed and engaged. During the hikes, Marjan was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. He constantly checked that everyone was doing well and made sure nobody felt left behind. He has a remarkable ability to read the group, listen carefully, and adapt to people's needs while keeping the experience enjoyable for everyone. The two hikes were fantastic, but what made the day truly special was Marjan's enthusiasm, kindness, and natural talent for guiding people. I met wonderful people during this trip, and Marjan played a huge role in creating that experience. I don't often write reviews like this, but Marjan genuinely deserves the recognition. He is an outstanding guide and one of the best I have encountered anywhere in the world. If I ever return to Shkodër, I know exactly who I will look for. I can wholeheartedly recommend Marjan to anyone looking for an exceptional guide, unforgettable hikes, and a truly memorable experience.

5.00Highlight of our trip to Albania!! Our guide, Vilson, was so knowledgeable and passionate about Albanian culture and history. He was punctual, made us feel safe, and was very considerate. The trip was so fun and we saw breathtaking views that we might have missed if we went on our own. Super charming lunch spot too with delicious food. Booking and scheduling/communication were very easy and straightforward. Marjan was a reliable point of contact. These guys are trustworthy and you should definitely book with them!!

5.00The most fantastic trip. You will have seen the pictures of the area by now and yes it really is THAT beautiful. But this review is about the guide himself, Marjan…take a bow. He absolutely made the trip that much more special. Firstly, small groups, max of 8, so you get time with your guide and he’s not having to manage 14 other people. This means you get his knowledge and passion for the area. Then there’s his connections with area itself, he is a true local. Meaning he is part of the community, this set him apart. You get to sense that community and benefit from it with stops along the way. As this area booms, as tourists we have to be mindful to visit in a respectful and suitable manner. Marjan talks and acts this so passionately, allowing you to be able to add something to the area and the local community as well . Thank you Marjan for an amazing experience and all the best.

5.00What a magical day exploring Theth with Marjan! The weather looked a little iffy but he made sure we were prepared and was incredibly flexible, adapting the schedule on then fly to avoid hiking in the rain. He knows the area very well and we felt like we had an insider's perspective to the best spots to see. The day was a wonderful mix of natural beauty, history, and culture, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Albania! Highly recommended!!!

5.00I recently took this day trip from Shkoder to Theth with Marjan, our driver and guide. The highlight was our trek into the heart of Theth National Park to witness the stunning Blue Eye and the area’s majestic waterfalls. What truly set this trip apart was the exceptional service provided by our driver and guide. His communication was flawless from the very start; he reached out via text well in advance to coordinate logistics and sent a reassuring, helpful message the morning of the trip to confirm our pickup and apologise for a few minutes of delay. He effortlessly engaged the group, making us feel welcomed and excited for the hike ahead. He also provided valuable historic perspective throughout the drive with stories that connected us to the region's rich heritage. Safety was a top priority. Our guide was incredibly vigilant, ensuring everyone was well-prepared for the terrain. He offered helpful hiking tips and kept a close eye on the group throughout the trek to the Blue Eye and the waterfalls, making sure we all felt comfortable and secure. His attentiveness created a wonderful atmosphere of trust and camaraderie. The choice of stops along the way was also excellent. Every location was thoughtfully curated, from scenic viewpoints that offered panoramic vistas of the peaks to charming spots where we could catch our breath and take in the natural beauty. Overall, this day trip was a perfect blend of adventure, education, and connection with nature. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the mountains of Theth. 5.00What others have said about Marian’s passion about his home is spot on. His knowledge and love for the area is very apparent and he takes great pride in sharing it with his group. He handled the 8 of us hiking with skill and care. Even without considering that this trip is about 12 hours, including the door to door transportation, this trip is an amazing deal. I will be recommending it to many!

5.00A fabulous day with our guide Marjan. The weather wasn’t kind to us unfortunately, we completed the hike and the blue eye was stunning even in the rain. Die to the weather we missed the hike to the waterfall but Marjan took us into Theth and other beautiful places with spectacular views. Lunch was delicious and I would recommend this tour, something we will never forget. Wear good walking shoes is my advice.

5.00We had the most amazing hiking experience through the mountains with Marjan. His knowledge and experience were amazing and we felt that we had an amazing and authentic experience. We enjoyed our tour so much we decided to do a second day to see another area of Northern Albania. We saw so much in a matter of days and saw the beauty of Albania.

5.00We were on a trip with work and had with family. Thethi Adventures arranged a day trip in the Shkodër area and a day trip to Theth. In addition, they arranged transportation to and from the airport and other activities. We had a fantastic experience, much thanks to Marjan who was a very nice and service-oriented guide/driver. We travelled home with a lot of good memories and a great impression of Albania and the people there. We highly recommend using Theth Adventures if you are going to Shkodër/Theth. The area around Theth is very beautiful and we got the desire to come back in the winter for freedom.
