Obidos

Start your journey toward the town of Óbidos, where we will start with a guided tour accompanied by our expert local guide. Completely surrounded by ancient walls and preserving all its medieval charm, Óbidos is one of the most famous and visited places in Portugal, a must-see in the surroundings of Lisbon. The narrow cobbled streets that can be seen in Óbidos will immediately transport you to a medieval atmosphere. These streets are home to perfectly preserved old houses, historic buildings, important monuments and, dominating the historic center in the highest part of the village, the Castle of Óbidos, declared one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.

It was a great visit to Obidos and Nazaré. In my opinion Porto is too far away to include on a day trip. Mario is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed his historical narratives. He tended to ramble at times.

I had a wonderful time during this tour regardless if it rained a little bit. This is definitely a must do tour when visiting portugal because it was so informational and Francisco Maia is a great guide with so much knowledge. I definitely recommend!

Our guide Francisco did an amazing job explaining the history and his knowledge was second to none on this tour We went to the walled town of Obidos and had walked the streets , then a nice stop in at Nazare to see the big waves and look over the town. Finally a drive up to Porto for lunch and an excellent guided tour through the streets - would highly recommend this to and especially Francisco as a guide.

Nice trip, professional and friendly tourguide. Unfortunately because of the fog we couldn't explore and enjoy the beauty of the all cities in full. Still worth to go :-)
