Enrique and Pedro are top notch. Enrique is your tour guide who knows Spain like the back of his hand. Very informative and polite. Other tour guides take notes because this is how you should lead a tour. Pedro was the bus driver, nice guy who made it convenient for all the riders. Please make sure to bring extra layers if visiting in April. Even throughout all the weather we still had an amazing time. P.S Make sure you take mental notes because at the end of the tour there is a quiz on everything Enrique spoke about. Winner gets the tour for free.

It’s a very long day but if you’re well prepared it’s an amazing experience. It’s very well organized, but they keep the program moving and the tempo is fairly high.

all very well organized & efficient, the guide explains clearly. Every step is so rushed, there is no time to immerse in the place & admire. But that's best Amigo tours can do for 3 cities in one day, which all are 1.5 hours from Madrid. In fact They had let us captured the essence of the cities.

It was a little difficult to find the bus in the morning and there wasn’t anyone with flags or signs pointing you in the right direction outside of the metro, as promised. Wasn’t too happy with the tour. First of all, the driver, Chema, was driving way too fast. Taking curves at very high speeds and racing through traffic as if he was trying to beat his previous time. Fast and furious! It was scary. The walking part of the tour was awful. Our tour guide Han (or Kahn, not sure the name) walked at a very fast pace and then wouldn’t give time for the slower walkers to catch up before he started talking about the site so they’d miss half of the information. His jokes were mediocre - he made too many political “jokes” and seemed to care too much about the real estate of each site. How much a property is worth, how much the rent would be, etc. People go on vacation to escape real life issues. We don’t need to hear about politics or real estate. Tour guide was too worried about the time that he didn’t care that some people in the back were struggling to keep up. Some of the walks were on inclined streets, or steep stairs. He just didn’t seem to care. He says he’s been doing this job a long time so he should know by now that some people are slower than others… so it just proves he doesn’t care. So make sure you’re able to walk fast before doing this tour. The whole tour seemed extremely rushed. We barely had 30 minutes to see the castle in Segovia - these 30 minutes also had to include a bathroom break and drink stop, if needed. We just barely had time to peak inside the castle because we had to use the bathroom before moving on. The walking tour does not give time to stop in any store or eatery. We raced passed so many cute shops in Toledo that we wished we had been able to check out but, because tour guide walks so fast and moves on from the site so fast, you can’t make any stops or you’ll lose the group. The lunch break was just barely enough time to eat. Spain moves at a slower pace so one hour is not enough time. Avila was nice but again, just a few minutes to see the town is not enough. If this tour didn’t include Avila, it would allow people more time at the other two cities to visit shops and really take in the site. It was not enjoyable, at all. Racing through the city, trying to keep up with the tour guide, does not allow you to really take in the sites, appreciate the culture, the city, and does not make a memorable experience. I’d go with another tour that gives you more time to soak it all in and enjoy the trip. This felt more like a workout.
