Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After early morning breakfast, your driver/ guide will pick you up from your place of accommodation and drive westwards, to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. We will make a stopover at the Equator for a toilet break, the water experiment and look at the crafts, we later proceed on to Mbarara for another stopover for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre or Agip Motel. We later proceed on to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. The park is about 450 kilometers West of Kampala and the journey takes about 8-9 hours, driving through the rolling hills of Mbarara and Kabale as you head to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where the rare and endangered mountain gorillas are found. We arrive at the park in the evening and check-in to the service of Buhoma Community Rest Camp or Broadbill Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After a great night in a natural environment, you wake up to a beautiful view of the Sunrise over the misty Bwindi Impenetrable national park, have breakfast and at about 7:45am, with our packed lunch, we move to the park offices for registration and briefing before you start the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Gorilla trekking can be challenging in that sometimes you climb steep hills under muddy conditions and it’s unpredictable how long this will take because it always depends on the movement of these great apes. There are many factors that determine the movement of the mountain gorillas and food availability is one of them, but generally, the activity can take between 2 to 8 hours. You go back to the lodge, relax around dinner and Overnight

After breakfast, we drive back to Kampala, with stopovers/toilet breaks at Kabale and Mbarara, lunch en-route. We also have a stopover at the Equator for the water experiment and look at the craft shops. We later proceed on to Entebbe and check into your place of accommodation or drive straight to the Airport for your flight home. 5.00What can we say, Kenny went above and beyond to cater for our needs - he was even very flexible when we had our flights changed! From the moment we met, we felt welcomed by Kenny and Eddie (the driver) just like family. We travelled very comfortably in their vehicle and felt safe and secure at all times. The accommodation was comfortable and beautiful, we really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The day of the trek was challenging, but well worth the hike! Thank you for such an incredible trip and for helping us achieve our dreams of trekking with the gorillas in Uganda!! Ps. The reason we chose this company was because Kenny runs and supports an orphanage in rural Uganda. We got in touch with him prior to our trip and brought children’s clothes, books and devices. 5.00If your a first time traveler like me and your planning to visit Uganda for the first time, your sorted Bright Safaris Uganda can erase your fear, we had fear when we were booking our first tour but finally this tour company did an amazing job for us. I asked him over and over but he never got tired of me and kept encouraging me with detailed testimonials and information that made us finally decided to go to Uganda. And during the tour our guide Moses did us really good, he was knowledgeable and professional. I really advise you to use Bright safari Uganda to organize your trip.

5.00This is a must say that everything was just more than our expectations, we contacted bright safaris Uganda in a short notice enquiring bout doing a 3 days Gorilla trekking in Uganda after the first company failed to secure 4 gorilla permits for us. Meddy assured us and then we confirmed our booking buy making payments,and from the time they picked us from airport to the end of the trip everything was wonderful. The tour guide was more knoledgeble in everything in Uganda which made us have a memorable experience in this trip and hope to come back and travel with bright safaris Uganda.
