What To Expect
Tiananmen Square
Your friendly guide will meet you at your Beijing hotel in the morning. We’ll enjoy a drive-by view of Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square entry often involves 1–3 hours of security checks. This tour offers a hassle-free drive-by view with no entry or security lines. Admire all landmarks: Mao Zedong Mausoleum, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Tiananmen Rostrum, Great Hall of the People, and National Museum of China. We provide free reservation codes for the Tiananmen Square evening session. Please ask your guide for the code to visit on your own after the tour.
The Palace Museum
Then we will proceed to the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) — the world’s largest and best-preserved ancient imperial complex, with over 500 years of history. Constructed between 1406 and 1420, the palace has been damaged, looted, rebuilt and restored numerous times. As a result, most of the existing architecture dates from the 18th century onward.

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful time with this excellent private tour. Our tour guide Sunny is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the different famous landmarks and culture. Our driver Mr Song drove very safely and it was pleasure. We were able to see so much in 1 day and we would highly recommend this tour.

5.00This was a lot to fit in one day, and we even skipped Tiananmen Square! Our guide Jeffrey was great at helping us navigate all the crowds. As we were with a 4 year old, maybe I would have planned to do the Summer Palace on another day. It was a holiday and very crowded, so we didn't have too much space to breathe. To do a tour of this magnitude, don't go on a holiday or expect to hear every historical detail. We heard about the highlights and that was good for us!

5.00We were short on time in Beijing and wanted to maximise the opportunity to see and experiences the key places listed in the description. This trip delivered just that. We were picked up by on time by our tour guide Lisa, travelled in a clean car with a safe driver. Along the way and throughout the day Lisa was super helper and accommodating of our experience, based on our individual interests.. She showed us key aspects and historical facts that we would have been missed if we have travelled by ourselves. A delicious, local lunch was also provided in between stops. In short, I would recommend Lisa and this experience for others wanting to have a stress free, immersive and enjoyable experience.
