The preparations for the festival and its traditional ceremonies are a bit unreal. It is a great three-day celebration of the followers of Tibetan Buddhism who cultivate centuries-old traditions with reverence. The attachment to faith and nature is unquestionable here. The Cham mask dance is something incredible, as are the many hours of pujas performed on this occasion in the Thubchen Gompa monastery.

I just came back from a Upper Mustang/ TIJI Festival Tour with Jeeban @ Nepal Adventure Team. The trip was everything and more I could have imagined it to be. Already in our chats beforehand I could immediately see his expertise knowledge and sensitivity to my personal needs& interests. Jeeban's organisation was absolutely flawless, if for unforeseen reasons a Plan B need to be made quickly, he had already executed it before it affected me& the trip in any way. His incredible knowledge due to years& years of experience in the business, along with beeing the most pleasant person to have around, made my trip the most magical unforgettable time. If i return to Nepal again I would only choose Jeeban for anything and everything in Nepal, he offers so many different tours it will be hard for me to choose from and offering special 'Festival Tours' is something very unique and special that I personally find very interesting.
