We did a private tour to Tikal and our guide Omar was excellent and described in detail the sites, wildlife, and as a Mayan a particular knowledge that was fascinating. It allowed some in our party who had mobility limitations to go at a slower pace while others could climb. We also had a good lunch and stop at store with handcrafted items.

It was a great trip and tour. Edwin and Omar were great tour guides. Tikal was beautiful and very fun to climb and take on the views. The restaurant lunch was included and was delicious. Overall it was a 10/10.

The tour was well run. We were picked up at our hotel, driven to the border, directed through Guatemalan customs and seamlessly picked up on the other side and driven to Tikal. The bus made 2 stops for food and washroom breaks (about a 2.5 hour drive) which is the reason for the 4 star review. I would have preferred one stop and more time to Individually explore the main temple area (we had about 45 minutes, an extra 30 minutes would have been perfect). The ruins were incredible and there was lots of wildlife including spider and howler monkeys, coati and our guide even pointed out a tarantula near the path. We had a delicious meal in a lovely restaurant before we reversed the process home.

This was a great trip. Very easy crossing at the border and Omar was an amazing guide. His knowledge level about the history, archeology were excellent but he also did a great job with the wildlife in Tikal. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely excellent experience on the excursion to Tikal from San Ignacio. From the very beginning, everything was seamless—pickup from our hotel was prompt and effortless, which set the tone for the day. We were a large group traveling together—two families, 11 people total, including six children (youngest ages 5 and 9) and our 83-year-old grandmother—and the tour could not have been better suited to our needs. Transportation was excellent: the bus was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Our tour guide truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and very considerate of our group’s pace, making sure everyone—from the kids to our grandmother—was comfortable and able to fully enjoy the tour. We visited all the major and important sites in Tikal, climbed the structures, and did so at an easy, relaxed pace. Before lunch, we had about 1.5 hours of free time to explore the main square on our own, which was a wonderful bonus. Lunch was at an excellent restaurant on the premises, and the grilled beef was truly outstanding. The return trip was just as smooth, including an easy and well-organized border crossing. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend this excursion with the highest possible marks—it was a memorable and enjoyable experience for our entire group.

We did the private tour from the border. We parked outside the immigration office, walked through and were met by the driver who took us to the pick up the guide en route. Our guide Nathaniel was so enthusiastic and a really lovely guy. He got on well with the kids talking about football as well as teaching us loads about the Maya. Highly recommend this tour group especially if you’re short on time to spend longer in Guatemala.

Our tour from San Ignacio to Tikal was an incredible experience! The transportation was smooth and well-organized—our driver (Luis) picked us up from our hotel, guided us through the border process, and handed us off seamlessly to our guide and driver in Guatemala. Our guide, Omar, was extremely knowledgeable, pointing out various birds and monkeys along the way and sharing fascinating history about Tikal. He pointed out some great picture opportunities as well. He was also very friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was excellent, adding to the overall great experience. Everything about this tour was well-planned and stress-free. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

We had considered visiting Tikal on our own, but ultimately decided a guide would be smoother. We were picked up at our Airbnb in San Ignacio and taken to the Guatemalan Border and given instructions on getting through the border and meeting our person al guide on the other side. Miguel and his driver for our day at Tikal were very knowledgeable and we learned so much in 7 hours. It was a private tour just for 4 of us which we really enjoyed. Tikal is an amazing place and we feel it is worth the trip to see and also the countryside of Guatemala. This company also serves you lunch inside the park, which was excellent! And gives you more time at the park rather than traveling to lunch. Picked up again in the early evening at the border and dropped right at our flat again. Se worth it!

Tikal was great! Very majestic and amazing. We drove to the Guatemala border from Belize and walked across to meet our guide, Mike and driver Luis. The drive from the border to Tikal was nice. The stop at the store for a break was good too. The tour was great! Mike explained things well and gave us time to explore. We took us on a jungle trail on the way back and it was fun. He was great at pointing out wildlife. We saw monkeys and many types of birds. The lunch was very tasty.

Our tour driver in Guatemala was reckless and nearly crashed into the car in front of us. The guide was knowledgeable, but unfortunately his accent made it hard to understand about half of what he said. He have a ton of information, facts & figures, that was hard to absorb. Disappointing.
