On your scenic drive to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park you will pass the famous cool aid looking Lake Pukaki and enjoy the view on New Zealands most beautiful road. Then the fun begins, trekking along the Hooker Valley Track at the base of Mount Cook, surrounded by mountains, glaciers, swing bridges and the flowing Hooker River. Hopefully you spot the native Kea bird too! Relax and enjoy the sights on your way back to Timaru, stopping at Lake Tekapo for the last look at the Southern Alps. Finish your day with a legendary Fairlie Bakehouse pie, fueling you up for a day in the mountains.

5.00JA was our tour guide and she was the best! The van was very comfortable and she made sure we stopped when we needed to for food and bathroom breaks. Our cruise shipped altered the time we were in port so she had to adjust our tour accordingly. JA was knowledgeable, funny, and very personable. It being a cruise ship excursion, she was very aware of our time, and making sure we returned with plenty of time. The views were gorgeous and she was a great picture taker too! Would definitely recommend this tour!

5.00WE had a lovely day with Jan. It was a long ride but worth driving to Lake Tekapo & seeing this beautiful lake surrounded by snow capped mountains.
