This is an adventurous day as we travel from Tirana to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Berat using sometimes challenging off-road trails. You can take the wheel of our (automatic) Suzuki Jimny if you like, or just let our driver do the hard work for you. We'll pick you up from your hotel at 09.00, and then travel about half an hour on asphalt to our trail start point. From here we'll climb up on a reasonable dirt road to a small village, where we can stop for an espresso in the very simple café. The driving becomes a little more challenging now, as we take an unmapped and sometimes quite rough track through the Tirana Valleys to connect with the next village, which has quite incredible views. We'll descend, and then climb again, and wind our way through forgotten trails till we rejoin asphalt, and join the road south to Berat. We can improvise lunch along the way, there are plenty of great options! All things being equal, we should deliver you to your hotel in Berat around 17.00. Berat-Tirana Option If you're coming from Berat, we'll pick you up at 09.00 from your hotel and aim to have you in Tirana by about 17.00 latest. This will be a different route, so we can do the off-road in the morning and then enjoy smooth asphalt roads after lunch!
