At Skanderbeg Square, you will encounter Tirana's central and most significant public space, named after the national hero, Skanderbeg. The square is a vibrant hub that showcases the city's historical and cultural essence
At Et'hem Bey Mosque, you will witness one of Tirana's most historic landmarks, renowned for its stunning Ottoman architecture. The mosque’s exterior is modest, but inside, it features beautiful frescoes adorned with intricate floral and natural motifs, rare for Islamic art. 5.00Imagine arriving in Tirana and having a local friend show you around—someone who shows up just for you, full of enthusiasm, and spends hours walking with you through the city like you’re old college friends reconnecting after years apart. Together, you explore the iconic spots of downtown, dive into fascinating history, and chat about life, family, and Albania along the way. That’s exactly what the experience with Albiona felt like. She was incredible—genuinely passionate about Tirana and deeply knowledgeable about Albania’s history. I happened to be the only person booked on the tour, which effectively turned it into a private experience. In many places, that would have meant a cancellation (in fact, another tour company here canceled on me just two days prior). Not Albiona. Her dedication and love for what she does were obvious from start to finish. She’s enthusiastic, personable, and easy to connect with—more like spending time with a friend than being guided through a tour. If you’re looking for a city tour in Tirana, she’s the one to book

5.00I have completed many tours around the world. This was one of the best I experienced, both in terms of the guide and the places I saw. Albiona is very knowledgeable and can easily engage in conversations about the sights, well beyond the usual information that one can find in a printed guide. Most important, she was very flexible in terms of the time and tour as I experienced a long delay in traffic arriving in the center of Tirana. She found a way to make the tour just as enjoyable and efficient. The tour was also well above my expectations because Tirana's center is a fascinating mix of old and very new with a very vibrant atmosphere in the evening. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00My partner and I did Albiona’s walking tour in June 2025 and could not recommend it more highly. It was just the two of us on the tour but Albiona was so friendly and knowledgeable about her city that the time flew by. Her passion for Albania is contagious and she was always happy to discuss the many questions we had along the way. The tour is well paced and there was a break to enjoy a local drink towards the end. Albiona is a gem and if you are visiting Tirana this is worth every cent!

5.00Ambiona was a SUPER guide. Knowing, fun and good at adapting content to our needs. We had 3 1/2 hour cycling around in Tirana. Super cool. Recommended - she also stood for renting bicycles. Just do it !

5.00We have travelled the world and been on many guided walking and other tours . Without question, our private walking tour of Tirana with Albiona, she is the best guide of all the others . She is extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of Tirana and Albania as a whole . But what really sets her apart is her engaging personality & her passion for what she does . My wife and I both had great fun and we all laughed a lot . As we say in Texas - She's a Hoot ! Make note that Albiona can also guide you on just about any other tour you may be interested in and around Tirana . We also did a tour the next day with her of Kruja Castle, Skanderbeg Museum and the Old Bazaar . Again, her knowledge and engagement throughout the tour made all the difference . Can't recommend her enough for the Tirana walking tour or any other tour you may be considering in and around Tirana.
