I really enjoyed this tour with Koji and Yoh, which we took in Mid-February. Koji was our English guide and was very informative and explained a lot about the history and culture of the areas we visited, while also being eager to share tips about other places we should see after our tour. There are several reviews where people thought the time spent at each site was too short, but I feel like it was perfectly timed. I would say if you’re someone who likes to spend an hour to an hour and a half max shopping in your normal day to day, this is a perfect tour for you. Each stop had restrooms which were perfect. For our meal option, we chose the Houtou noodles, which had thick noodles and a flavorful broth with a few veggies, perfect for a cold day and easy on the stomach. There were several good views of Mt. Fuji and due to weather conditions we couldn’t go to the 5th station, but we still enjoyed it and was blessed to get a clear shot of Mt. Fuji. Oshino Hakkai will be crowded, we were told that it was a light day when we went, so just be prepared for that. The tour was chill and didn’t require a lot of endurance. The last stop was the mall, which has mostly American brands, but I found a Japanese specialty food store/cafe, and I highly recommend getting their mochi. I definitely recommend this tour.

In my opinion Mt Fuji was the star of the excursion, however that was the one stop we spent the least amount of time at. We were given 40 mins to “explore” Mt Fuji, that is just enough time to go to the bathroom and rush to one gift shop (there were several) and hope you have time for a photo opportunity . I would have been happy to have switched the hour at the Craft Park for our meal with the 40 minutes at Mt Fuji, because there wasn’t much to do there. We pretty much stared at each other until it was time to head off to the next destination. Unfortunately I just noticed that the times are posted on the listing. Honestly if I had noticed that I probably would have gone with another excursion. So just FYI the operator might want to reconsider those times going forward.

Tour is exactly what it's advertised as, no more and no less. Fuji is quite a long way from Tokyo so no matter what, you will spend more time on the bus than anything else, and if the weather doesn't cooperate you might not see much when you do reach the station on Mt Fuji. The other locations on the tour are quite touristy - if you don't want to spend money in touristy gift shops and food stalls there isn't much else around. Fine if that's what you want, but if not this could be a long day of bus rides and not much to do.

Like many the view of Mount Fugi is completely random as it is dependent on the weather. My wife and son overall had a great time although the drop off location was completely random causing them to go through a lot to meet up with my daughter and I in another location when we expected a drop off at the same location as the pickup.

Pros: You get to see all the places on the itinerary list. If you're efficient in Chinese-mandarin. Cons: Meeting point information unclear. No direct contact phone number. Very limited English per tour guide. Very limited time at the outlet. Tips: Avoid weekends cuz traffic jams will cut down your time at sites. 1 hour at the outlet is barely enough time to use the rest room and get an ice cream. Forget shopping as the place is hugh! Pack your own lunch if you're ordering noodles.
