This was by far the best tour of our holiday. Jordan is so knowledgeable about the history of Mount Takao, the temples and shrines. He took us on a long nature walk to the Ramen restaurant. Not only was the food delicious but the people serving it were super friendly. Being in a small group - there were only 4 of us - means you don’t just see the sights but absorb the atmosphere. The final offering - the Onsen - was just so relaxing and very welcome after a long day’s walking. Thank you Jordan driving us back to the station and for giving us an unforgettable day. One suggestion - allow plenty of time to get to the meeting place. It is a fair way from the centre of Tokyo

This tour, with its combination of activities, checked a lot of boxes for me. I’m so happy that I chose this tour. I appreciated travelling outside central Tokyo, and walk the trails on Mt. Takao. We stopped at the nature museum, visited the monkey enclosure and the various spiritual/significant sites on the mountain. We ended the tour with a relaxing soak at an onsen. An excellent day out! I appreciated Jordan’s local knowledge and enthusiasm. He was very thoughtful in his approach. This tour is very accessible and a window into local culture. I would recommend this tour.

Me and my partner had an amazing day touring Mt Takao and visiting an onsen with tour guide Jordan. He was very inviting and informative about not just Mt Takao, but Japanese culture and daily life as well. The views along the tour were stunning, and there were many exciting stops along the way such as the monkey zoo and mountain markets. The ramen we ate on the mountain was delicious as well. At the end of the tour, soaking in a quiet, tattoo friendly onsen was a great way to relax. I would highly recommend this tour with Jordan for anyone who enjoys the following: light hiking, good city and nature views, learning about Japanese culture, and relaxing in a traditional Japanese onsen.
