  This was a great experience! Kei and Karen did a great job sharing their knowledge of the local food, restaurants, history and culture. They made an effort to connect with my son as well as myself and were very nice company to have for the evening. It was five stars all around.

  A tremendous intro to Japanese food and drink! Great guide, he was knowledgeable, friendly, great English, knew the area, willing to share ideas, excellent. Tried many dishes, all great and the various drinks were great also!

  We had a food tour scheduled in Shibuya. We met our guide, Nicolas, at the designated location and time. We arrived 15 minutes early, and Nicolas was already there, awaiting our arrival. He outlined the tour route he had planned for us, and we were all quite pleased with his suggestions for exploring Shibuya and its renowned crossing. The two restaurants we visited were ideal for understanding the customs of dining in a Japanese establishment. It wasn't overly crowded as it was still early, before most workers had finished their day. The first restaurant specialized in dumplings, and the second exclusively served Toro. This latter establishment was our particular favorite. During our tour of Shibuya, Nicolas provided insights into the history of the crossing, the culture of contemporary Japanese generations, and led us to a fascinating pop culture store featuring items from 1980s classics to modern-day culture, catering to all ages. When the tour concluded, we needed to meet relatives at the nearby Pokémon building, and Nicolas, without hesitation, guided us there via a shortcut. This saved us approximately 10 minutes compared to using Google Maps! I wholeheartedly recommend Nicolas, who is fluent in both Japanese, English, and French.
