We loved this tour. Kanako was great in explaining to us the origin of foods, point places where to get the best food, and also answer any of our questions. Strongly recommend it if you want to immerse in local life.

Tadashi was fantastic. He was humble, polite, patient and knowledgable. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. We got a lot more out of our tour of Tsukiji with Tadashi than we ever would have visiting alone. We highly recommend this experience.

Tack-san was a great tour guide! We had a lot of fun learning about Japanese food and culture. We got to enjoy a lot of different foods and watch a sushi chef filet a fish and slice us fresh sashimi. We enjoyed everything very much! Highly recommend!

Nick-san greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome and at ease at once. We had the privilege of a private tour as we were the only ones who booked that day. Nick-san manouvered us with expertise through the narrow streets of the market while explaining a lot about the food amd culture. We learned that almost everything goes well with either beer or sake ;). He is a very charming and funny man and his English is very good but because of the bustling streets and traffic of the main streets it could be hard to hear everything. For the two of us this was not a problem but I can image that with a bigger group this could become more difficult. The food you get during the tour is not that much so you can try a few different things while walking through the market. In the end we had a great time with Nick-san so would definitely recommend!

Massan was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who first gave our family of 5 the history of the shrine where the meeting point was as well as the history of the entire market area. He led us carefully through each street and stopped at several shops on each street to either talk about the history of the shop or give us samples. The tour also included lunch. It was upstairs in a private room of the restaurant with one other small tour group family. The sushi chef demonstrated his expertise in filleting a sea bream before we assembled our own sushi bowl. Thank you for making our family feel so welcome and for being an excellent guide!
