Our guide Shane did an incredible job! The tour gives you a nice overview of the history of the fish market. It’s a nice broad sample of some of the amazing food sold in the stalls of the fish market: mochi, fish balls, fresh fish, tamagoyaki and some of the best wagyu beef! 10/10 would do it again, minus the rain.

Nobu was so informative and helpful. She shared so much info about the market and took us to all sorts of shops to buy goods while we tasted great food. Nobu showed us things we would never have known about on our own. I highly recommend this tour and Nobu for exploring the market and learning more about Tokyo.

We loved the fish market food tour. Naz was a wonderful guide and helped us navigate the market. We tried fish cakes, strawberries, Omelettes, eel skewers, sashimi bowl and a wagyu beef skewer that was our favorite bite of the whole trip. Would highly recommend!

We had the absolute BEST experience on the Tsukiji Tokyo Fish Market tour with Mitch today! He was beyond amazing incredibly knowledgeable about the temple, the history of the market, and the cuisine, and he shared everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He was warm, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The tour was the perfect mix of culture, history, and delicious food, and Mitch elevated it into something truly special. If you’re considering this tour, book it and hope you get Mitch! Cheers to an unforgettable experience!

Tour and guide were good and the food was delicious but not worth $150 cad per person. I’m kind of surprised the reviews were so positive. You’d be better off to just wander the stalls and market on your own.

Interesting and unique tour around the fish market. Our guide, Mitch, provided a positive and informative experience, with many recommendations about places to see both inside and outside the market. He was very positive and friendly and took a lot of pictures that he shared with the group at the end of the tour.
