What To Expect
Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

5.00What a fantastic tour! The bus was clean and air conditioned. The guide knew the city and history very well, was pleasant, and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. The price was reasonable and included several stops, time to eat, and time to shop.

5.00This was a great way to get to the city and see the panoramic view on the way. Aranxia did her best to help us stay cool and hydrated in the heat. It was great to have a local guide to show us around, but to also have time to explore this charming city on our own!

5.00Arantxa gave us an interesting, energetic and balanced understanding of Toledo. Although I don’t speak Spanish, she gave us balance between long Spanish explanations and English. Arantxa was kind and helped give me directions to the Sephardic museum when we broke for lunch. I am glad I took this tour to get a better appreciation of Toledo!!!

5.00Nice tour. There is a lot of walking on this tour so wear comfy clothing and shoes. My only complaint was access to bathrooms. 2 and a half hours into the tour we got our first bathroom break.

5.00Guide was amazing and Toledo was gorgeous but SOOOO much walking just from the meeting spot to the bus in Madrid that would take us to Toledo. In Toledo there was a lot of walking as well but guide was considerate and gave us many breaks and tried to maintain us in the shade.
