What To Expect
Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

5.00We had an amazing day with arantxa on our tour today! She was entertaining, extremely knowledgeable, funny, and flexible all day. So much is included in the tour, but she really made the trip with the amount of information she shared and the relaxed but still thorough route of our tour. Arantxa was able to tell us so much about everything from history to art and local foods to sample. Would highly recommend a trip with arantxa to anyone looking to see Toledo!

5.00A fantastic experience that I would definitely do if you have a day to spare while traveling. The tour guide was phenomenal they had so much information about what we were looking at and could answer any question we asked. We got lucky with the time of year we went (early January) it was cold outside but there wasn’t many people crowding the streets or inside the places we were visiting. Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes we ended with around 13,000 steps and it’s a lot of uphill and rough walking surfaces.
