Muralla de Toledo

Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.

The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

Our day trip to Toledo from Madrid was a truly blessed pilgrimage for our whole Pinoy family. Walking into the Toledo Cathedral, we all just whispered, “Aba! Ang yaman!” (Wow! So rich/grand!) The sheer scale and detailed architecture made the experience napaka-solemn (very solemn). Seeing the blend of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim history in one city, especially at the beautiful Synagogue, was a powerful reminder of faith and resilience—so inspiring. St. Tome's Church, with El Greco’s masterpiece, was the perfect final stop, emphasizing beauty dedicated to Panginoon (the Lord). Truly, this tour was worth every penny; we felt a deep connection (malalim na koneksyon) here. We highly recommend this tour to our fellow Filipinos—Sana all (Wish everyone) gets to experience this spiritual high!

It was a great tour of the city, which covered the most important places for the history of Toledo. The tour was very well conducted by the guide, called Arantxa a person's sympathy, who told the history of Toledo since the Romans the Christian conquest with excellence and brilliance. The place is expanded and seems to be stalled in medieval times. The only problem was the cost of the tour, which for three people ended up costing 200 euros. But it was worth it for the incredible experience!!

All positive. Excellent guide. Interactive, easy to communicate. A complete historical and cultural class of the city. Enabling us to truly know the rich history of this city and its enormous multicultural array. Super recommend. We went without paying the moments, yet good that the guide convinced us, because in fact, it would not be so profitable and guidance. The streets were made to hinder access, wise people. Oh, the transport and the high standard driver.We thank you
