What To Expect
Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

5.00Our Guide Oscar was excellent ! Interesting , clever and straight to the point pertinent historical explanation of the amazing city of Toledo. I particularly enjoyed , loved and learned the cross references between the three cultures that make this city historically rich and unique. Thanks to Pablo our driver too that drove us around the most beautiful view points of the city.

5.00Toledo is well worth visiting. We learnt so much from Oscar, our guide; about the history and architecture . I would highly recommend this tour. It was well organized, and the included tickets to the three additional sites was great. The couch made the trip very comfortable and I felt safe in the hands of our driver Pauolo . Thank you.

5.00Our family (two adults + two teenagers) had a fantastic day trip to Toledo! Our local guide - Beatrice - was full of great humor and insight regarding the history of Toledo, Spanish culture and more. Our driver - Guillermo - also navigated us safely to-and-from Toledo in a comfortable bus. I definitely think a day trip out to Toledo is a worthwhile excursion to couple with a stay in Madrid; Toledo is a beautiful historic city with much to absorb. This tour provided us with sufficient time to explore Toledo on our own, while also including time dedicated to Beatrice's exploration of specific sights with the group. The tour is in both Spanish and English, but we had no issue with that; Beatrice seemed to navigate both languages with considerable ease.

5.00From the moment we left Madrid, Oscar our guide was educating us with his fascinating and informative details. He jumped from English to Spanish seamlessly and was constantly interesting. The pace was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks also goes to our coach driver Pablo.

5.00I really enjoyed our tour of Toledo. As an English speaker I appreciated how our guide spoke both in Spanish and English, in longer paragraphs - for continuity. (It's hard to listen when it's translated sentence by sentence.) Our guide was thorough and informative, sharing the highlights of buildings, paintings, culture and history of Toledo. We had time to shop and eat as well.

5.00Very simple yet great experience. Our guide kept the verbal part of the tour concise and not overtly verbose. We were able to get into all the temples and attractions in an organized and speedy matter. Group size was about 20 people which was an ideal size. We were given the opportunity for breaks and lunch without having to cram too much information or sites into too little time.
