What To Expect
Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

5.00Arantxa was so nice, with a happy go-to spirt! She made sure to include everyone in the discussion and made sure we were engaged! I also appreciate her watching our backs with the pickpocketers. The cathedral was mind blowing; the scale and detail of it all! History is alive in the city of Toledo. Do beware that there is A LOT of walking and alot of hills.

5.00I had a truly wonderful time exploring Toledo today! Our guide was incredibly friendly and made the entire group feel welcome from start to finish. What impressed me most was the guide's deep knowledge of the city's rich history and the details of the masterpieces we visited. Even though I don't speak a word of Spanish, it wasn't an issue at all. The guide was extremely patient and took the extra effort to repeat the explanations in English, ensuring that I didn't miss any of the fascinating stories behind the landmarks and artworks (like the breathtaking burial of the Count of Orgaz). The entire trip was smooth, educational, and very enjoyable. If you’re looking for a guide who is both professional and genuinely caring about their guests' experience, I highly recommend this tour. It made my visit to Toledo unforgettable!

5.00Arantxa was by far one of the most personable and cheerful guides we've had over our many tours in Europe. She looks after her clients (we were about 20 on the tour) very well, regularly taking head counts by name so that no one gets left behind. And she knows her subject very very well, carefully explaining what we are seeing and patiently answering questions. We enjoyed our tour very much!

3.00It's a large tour, so things take a while to do. The synagogue experience could've been skipped, its just a room. We spent more time going thru security than seeing things inside. Cathedral was AWESOME and thr guide was helpful. Between the low quality audio devices and her thick accent, English was hard to understand. I was able to get all the info between ESP/ENG, but not ideal. Also, it felt like we were waiting for the slowest members of the group and there were times the guide was wasting time. I would've preferred the extra 15 minutes to eat/shop rather than standing around chatting. If you want a slower paced, see a few things and walk around you'll like the tour. If you are looking to go-go-go, probably not for you and try just a drop off/pickup trip.
