What To Expect
Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

4.00The trip was amazing and Adrian and Beatrice were very well versed in with th trip and did an amazing job. The only suggestion I have is combining two languages in one trip kind of makes it difficult to get the full flow of the trip experience. Rest everything was great.
Very informative walking tour of Toledo

5.00We toured Toledo with Beatrix and really enjoyed it. We learned a lot. Beatrix is like a walking encyclopedia. We saw the church of San Tome with the famous El Greco painting which Beatrix explained in great detail. Then we saw the old Jewish synagogue/christian church. And finally we toured the Toledo Cathedral which is amazing. We were pretty tired at the end and so were happy to find a place to sit and have lunch. If you want to learn a lot about the history of Toledo, I recommend this tour.
Too large a tour for a dual language guide.

3.00I typically find Viator tours excellent but not this. First, I probably will not book a 2-language tour again. It’s often difficult to follow someone who speaks English as her 2nd language but it almost impossible when she shift from her native language to English. Second, this guide, Arosa(??), gave little description of what to expect such as “We will have a short wait in this line while these folks in front of us get their tickets processed.” This is only one example of many that led to confusion. Finally, the radio headset I had frequently went out of range of the guide, so cut out, as she charged onward. This tour was too large for such a tourist crowded place like Toledo.

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful experience going to Toledo on a 1/2 day trip. The bus was very comfortable and our tour guide Beatrice could not have been better. Her knowledge and especially her ability to explain the history of Toledo and the art work really made this a great time. Would recommend this highly.
