What To Expect

Muralla de Toledo

Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.

The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II

We had Javier and Beatrice as our bus driver and tour guide for our day trip to Toledo. Beatrice is extremely personable and very knowledgeable. A tour with her is highly recommended. The pace is very comfortable and her English is excellent. She provided lots of details and insight that made the trip enjoyable and worthwhile. I can’t imagine seeing Toledo without a tour guide. I absolutely recommend visiting Toledo for the day and touring with Fun and Tickets.

Toledo is so beautiful and full of history! Definitely recommend coming to this beautiful place. Our tour was great, we got to see a lot and didn’t feel too rushed although we liked the bus with a second story better! Our tour guide Beatriz was amazing and funny! She keeps us informed and entertained. Javier the bus driver drove the bus safely and smoothly. Overall great experience!

Beatrice guided our large group of over 40 people with nonstop enthusiasm and knowledge from the start of the tour until we returned to the bus. She was very caring and made sure that all questions were answered. Javier the bus driver navigated the highway and roads of Toledo with ease. I highly recommend a tour with Beatrice spending the day in Toledo was enough to get a good knowledge of the town.

Today we did the tour to Toledo with my family. We really had an amazing time. Everything worked perfectly, from the start, the transport, the driver Javier a 10. Our guide was Beatriz and really made a difference because she knows a lot and makes the tour very enjoyable and interesting. He answers every question with dedication and detail and is very very friendly and friendly. I highly recommend anyone who wants to make this experience.

A beautiful day spent in Toledo. Beatrice did a great job sharing the history of Toledo and explaining the sites and all the works of art. We started off with a view of the city before venturing on a walking tour to all the major sites. It was the perfect combination of a guided tour and then having 2hrs to venture on your own. My daughter snd I enjoyed it very much.
