This brand-new block-buster Ancient Egypt attraction is indoors and air-conditioned and located right in the heart of the Cairns city, just around the corner from the Cairns Aquarium. This exhibition provides visitors with a journey through 11 of the most lavishly decorated tombs and temples of Ancient Egypt. Each recreatedtomb is filled with hieroglyphic wall inscriptions, stele engraved plaques, mummified human and animal remains, and over 450 meticulously crafted museum grade replica items made in Egypt using traditional goldsmithing methods. Tomb of the Pharaohs is a mesmerising way to learn about one of the richest civilisations that ever existed.

Located right in the heart of the Cairn city, this is Australia’s newest and most spectacular aquarium exclusively showcases the stunning marine and wildlife from TropicalNorth Queensland’s two World Heritage areas – the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. With over 16,000 creatures, get up close with the ocean’s largest predators and enjoy guaranteed interaction with some of the region’s most rare and elusive animals. An absolute MUST SEE! Step inside the doors and into the World of the Pharaoh's. One of the most incredible exhibitions I’ve ever seen. One you would expect to see in the world’s grandest galleries! This is not just any recreation of artefacts and tombs it’s been meticulously researched and recreated with Egyptian artists and consultation with the Egyptian government. Do not Leave Cairns without visiting!!!

I discovered this by chance on the way to the aquarium, went in and was not disappointed. Items were well signed , a large collection. Many life-like sized coffins and mummies on display also statues and artifacts. If you are into Egyptian history you will thoroughly enjoy this.

The same building, just the corner as part of Cairns Aquarium, this exhibition is educational. The replication is fantasticly done. Allow about one more for the exhibition.

Absolutely fantastic. Well worth it. Husband who has been to Egypt says this exhibition is as close to the originals as you can get they are truly authentic would highly recommend for all ages, definitely will be returning.
