Schieffelin Hall
Most of the hauntings in this historic theater are thought to be performers. It's said sometimes that once you are on stage, as an actor, you never really get off. And this seems to be the case with the past performers of Schieffelin Hall, as most of the reported hauntings are around the stage and backstage area.
Step into the eerie shadows of the Tombstone Marshals Office, where the echoes of the Wild West's lawless days still resonate. Here, amidst the whispers of past gunfights and ghostly apparitions, the air is thick with tales of justice and vengeance that have left an indelible mark on this haunted landmark.

Even though it was a very cold night we very much enjoyed our ghost tour with Ethan our guide. We had a group of about 8 which is perfect. Downtown Tombstone is not very big so it was easily walk-able but even though it is small there is tons of history. We learned so much and even had some paranormal experience. We had our 11 & 15 year old grandsons with us and the tour was very appropriate for them. If you are staying the night in Tombstone, it's a great thing to do.

Ethan was extremely knowledgeable, he was however long winded. Our tour was 2 hours long and didn’t end until the majority of our group quit because it was very windy and cold.

Our tour guide, Denise, was very informative and fun. Although we were the only two on the tour, she still gave us the full story of Tombstone. Highly recommend her.

Had a wonderful experience with Brandon Jones. He’s very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions and I had a lot of questions. Learned a lot about tombstone that I didn’t know.

We two were the only ones on the tour that night. Our guide gave us lots of extra stories and the one hour was extended to two hours. She also lent us some ghost detectors to check various "hot spots" for ghostly presence. We got lots of stories besides the OK corral but also the real story of that gunfight.

I was really baffled by our tour and I a waited a little while to reflect on it before I wrote something nasty and unproductive here. I am going to try to take the high road and be as constructive as possible here… Our tour definitely got off on the wrong foot with this tour guide and we weren’t the only people in this tour that were looking for a little bit more than what was delivered. We got started about 3-4 minutes late after meeting the tour guide in a spot where we were NOT expecting her to be. Here is the message I received in verbatim 3 minutes past the start time: “Hello, this is your tour guide Adeina. I am just wondering if you are still on the tour tonight of if you will be rescheduling due to the storm expected to hit in a few minutes?” I replied “We are standing on the corner in the meeting spot” It turns out our tour guide did not have a lantern as advertised, which is fine, but the condescending teenage attitude she presented and her gaslighting us about it was pretty difficult to swallow after paying $195.96 for my group of 6 adults. For those in doubt, here is the meetup address from my reservation confirmation: “Corner of 6th and E Allen Streets between the Birdcage Theater and Hotel Tombstone. Your guide is wearing a US Ghost Adventures t-shirt and carrying a lantern. Please arrive 15 minutes early.” I interpret this as the middle of the street, between these two buildings. Not some simply lit bench at a table near the gazebo next door to the theater. The tour guide was not wearing the T-shirt visibly which is understandable because it was pretty chilly out at night. However, you would think a group of about 20 people all huddled together would be a good place to start asking folks if they were there for the paid tour. Most in the group did arrive 15 mins early after all and we were standing around at the meeting spot asking “Where is our tour guide?” Everyone on the tour was on their best behavior, probably because she started everyone off on the right foot by forbidding “any hostility” or she would “kick them off the tour” which I thought was really strange, but perhaps she has dealt with really difficult people in the past and she was trying to pre-empt that sort of result from happening again? One of the first stops was the building next door to the Bird Cage Theater, but I was puzzled when she referred to it as a “stupid little store” without much explanation as to why it was stupid. Maybe she had a bad experience here and there was more to the story that would be interesting for the audience to hear about? While she didn’t speak very loudly to begin with, she proceeded to lead the tour group down the street closer towards the noisy Doc Holiday Bar where barely any of the tour guests could hear anything she was saying over the raucous karaoke blasting from that establishment. As we moved past the bar, I was able to hear her talking again and I found the story she shared about the gentleman being arrested for “public in-toxicity” rather fascinating. There were several more stops without incident and we reached the town park where the regular tour ended and extended tour continued on for those who paid ahead of time. She announced that we were such a great small crowd that we could all continue on with the extended tour even if we didn’t pay for the tour extension. Everyone except my group left at that point so I started to feel rather bad for her. We stuck through the extended tour, determined to get our money’s worth and to see if the tour guide had a redemption arc ahead of her. The next few locations were rather interesting and I got the impression that she is a very sweet girl who appears to be a bit in over hear head with the larger crowds. Her tour guide skills are not horrible, but she has a lot of room for improvement. The sort of skills you gain with a bit of practice and adapting what works well from other tour guides to keep folks really engaged. I really do hope she sticks with it and I am sure with time she could someday be really great at this gig. Perhaps her “tour company” can do her a solid and send her fully prepared as well. I say this because there were missing E-meters and plushie ghosts promised to those who paid extra for them. Even though she apologized, I got the impression that those folks were let down because they were celebrating a birthday with this event as a central component of their celebration. Keep at at Adeina, practice makes awesome!

This should be the first thing before touring on your own. The guide was from Tombstone so was able to give insight on things that are relevant to see. The tour guide was informative and kind.
