Kate might be the best person I’ve ever met.. born in Kansas City and have been to a lot of tastings.. WOW. This is the best distillery in town, and the best people.

I really enjoyed this tour and tasting when visiting KC for a conference. I’m from Cincinnati, OH and frequent the bourbon trail in KY so I’ve learned a lot about bourbon distilling from those tours, but a couple things that were really unique about Tom’s… they distill many spirits including gin, vodka and bourbon. I know the least about Gin, so it was neat to learn about the standards of Gin and Bourbon distilling side by side. Also the history! Learning about a city’s brewing or distilling history tells a lot about their roots. The video they show before your tasting gave some great context about KC, its spirits and music. That was pretty cool. Tristan was a great tour guide! Of all the spirits, I really liked the Pendergast’s Royal Gold Bourbon, and enjoyed an old Fashioned made with it after the tour in their speakeasy.

Tony was great, super knowledgeable and friendly. It was fun to learn about the process but also to your the whole space. The history of Pendergast and the owners of the distillery in a video was very cute and a fun short way to learn more. The tasting was delicious. We had a great time!

It was an amazing informative experience! They had everyone engaged and made sure they understood exactly how the process works to make the different liquors. I absolutely had a blast and when I’m back in town, I will definitely do it again!

The tour was very good. We got to see the areas when all processed distilled. We sample 6 different tastes and had the opportunity to sample other flavors. We also set down and saw around a 8 minute video the history of the Tom Town distillery. We purchased doubled bourbon. We will be back in April for another tour. Thanks

Tristan does an amazing job teasing out the story of the brand and Kansas City. I loved the attention to detail around both the distilling process and the prestige behind the brand.
