Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
Wat Traimit (the Temple of Golden Buddha) is a public temple famous for its enormous gold Buddha image informally called “the Golden Buddha” in the position of subduing the evil. This Golden Buddha image is about 700-800 years old since it is likely to be casted in Sukhothai era, the early beginning of Thai history.
Chinatown - Bangkok
Bangkok Chinatown is one of the largest Chinatown located inside cities. It is arguable that Bangkok Chinatown is one of the best to discover what makes it so unique. The road going through this Chinatown is Yaowarat Road, built in 1891 (or 2434 Buddhist Era). This 2 kilometer road is often called “the Dragon Road”, connecting the curve-shaped Chinatown’s historical neighborhood.

From start to finish, everything was seamless, well-organized, and thoughtfully curated. They picked up us at our hotel, which was wonderful. Having a private guide made all the difference — Lin was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and significance of each temple we visited, and was able to move at our own pace. The temples themselves were breathtaking, with intricate architecture, stunning details, and a peaceful atmosphere that made the experience truly special. I especially appreciated being able to explore at our own pace without feeling rushed, and having the flexibility to ask questions and dive deeper into what interested us most. 5.00Our family had a fun and very informative private tour with our guide Lin and her excellent driver Kevin. Lin did a great job describing the temples, the many traditions of Buddhism, and the Thai royal family. It was a very memorable experience. The tour van was comfortable and air conditioned, with cold bottled water, all of which were musts on the day of our tour. We would highly recommend this excursion, which even our teenagers found very interesting.

5.00Lin and Kevin were phenomenal - 10 stars! We went on a really hot day and appreciated the AC van and cold waters provided. Lin especially was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of history of Thailand and all the temples we went to. Really appreciated her also setting us up for photo-ops at each spot!! Totally recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok and want to experience the culture in a short time frame.
