What To Expect
Peak Tram
Ride the Peak Tram to the iconic Peak (Round trip tickets included) Top 10 must do experience voted by visitors! The first Peak Tram commenced service on 30 May 1888 (first cable funicular of Asia) and has undergone various phases of modernization from coal-fired steam boilers in its earliest days to today’s super-efficient electronic control system. The 6th generation Peak Tram has been painted in a bespoke “Peak Tram Green”, in a nod to its heritage and earlier 3rd and 4th generation tramcars, which were in service from 1948-1959 and 1959-1989 respectively. Getting to the Peak by the Peak Tram is an unforgettable experience. One of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways, the tram rises to 396 meters (about 1,300 feet) above sea level. It is so steep that the buildings you pass look like they are leaning a gradient of between 4 and 25.7 degrees!

5.00The tour was extremely enjoyable and full of different experiences. Our Guide Simon was knowledgeable and helpful with all the information we needed. We would highly recommend as an introduction to Hong Kong as a great way to pack in a lot in a short time. From peak tram ride to the amazing travelator the walking segments and the sunset boat cruise on the harbour and the beautiful evening meal all provided us with a full on exposure to Hong Kong and what there is to offer. We even had some free time for shopping.

4.00Generally pretty good. Super lunch, it was worth it. The stop to Victoria Peack a little short, you could avoid stopping at the jewelry store (which doesn't make any sense) and leave that time for the visit to Victoria Peack. Guide Daisy has been pretty good.

5.00The activities are amazing, Simon gave us a lot of history of the sites and overall city. The boat cruise might be a bit chilly, bring a sweater. We had 24 hours in Hong Kong and feel like we got a really great introduction to all the city has to offer.

4.00The itinerary for the tour was excellent but unfortunately elements were time constrained because of a late start caused by the tour company and one element (visit to the antique market) was missed completely. Whilst our tour guide was informative he was occasionally difficult to understand and lacked some group organising ability allowing the group to be split causing further delay. The visit to the peak was the star of the show, followed by the evening harbour cruise. These gave wonderful contrasting vistas of Hong Kong and Kowloon.

3.00Viator said the tour started at 1:30 (even on the ticket), but the tour actually started at 1, so we almost missed it. Additionally, they forced us to go to a jewelry store which was not part of the tour. Finally, the logistics were poor at best. Tour guide didn’t meet us where he said he would several times.

3.00The site seeing was ok First we did the rail ride up the mountain with beautiful views. Then we walked the longest covered escalator and walked the Hollywood street which was interesting. Then they took us to a pearl dealer which was to sell us overpriced pearls that was just a waist of time Then a river cruise on the harbor which we skipped while other went on We had more fun having a brew on the river front waiting for them to return Then it was time for dim sum Which was disappointing at best They just threw the food at us all at once and we had to pick and chose as quick as we could Whole dinner lasted a few minutes What a waist of time
