Peak Tram
Ride the Peak Tram to the iconic Peak (Round trip tickets included) Top 10 must do experience voted by visitors! The first Peak Tram commenced service on 30 May 1888 (first cable funicular of Asia) and has undergone various phases of modernization from coal-fired steam boilers in its earliest days to today’s super-efficient electronic control system. The 6th generation Peak Tram has been painted in a bespoke “Peak Tram Green”, in a nod to its heritage and earlier 3rd and 4th generation tramcars, which were in service from 1948-1959 and 1959-1989 respectively. Getting to the Peak by the Peak Tram is an unforgettable experience. One of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways, the tram rises to 396 meters (about 1,300 feet) above sea level. It is so steep that the buildings you pass look like they are leaning a gradient of between 4 and 25.7 degrees!
Victoria Peak (The Peak)
Take a guided walking tour to learn about the history of the peak and visit the Lion's Point View Pavilion. Victoria Peak, known simply as The Peak, is a must-see Hong Kong destination — both day and night — offering iconic views of skyscraper-flanked Victoria Harbor, Kowloon peninsula and craggy mountain peaks. Lion’s Point view Pavilion - A Chinese-style pavilion near the Peak Tram terminus on Victoria Peak offers a panoramic view of Victoria Harbor. The pavilion was built by a local Hong Kong Lions Club in 1976, another icon of “East Meets West”

Need better English speaking tour guide. Otherwise very nice guy. Need better vehicle. The itinerary was a little longer than expected.

Shocked by the positive reviews because this was not a pleasant tour. The guide seemed mostly disinterested in the experience; he did not give us relevant historical inisights about the main attraction (Victoria Peak), and he skipped certain stops on the itinerary in order to make time for a visit to a silk shop where we endured several demonstrations about Hong Kong silk's durability. When we inquired about the changes to the itinerary, he dismissively said we have the old itinerary, a claim that lacks credibility because his changes are still not reflected in the current itinerary for this tour. There was also someone in the group with food allergies that were mentioned in her booking, but he had no interest in addressing her complaints. A very weird experience overall. Not worth the price.

The tour option I chose was without the Dim Sum lunch. The first part of the tour was fine but the weather was very bad so the visibility was nil from the peak and very strong wind. The second part in the city was fun, lots of streets / facts, hip places but also historical places seen. The last hour was not very meaningful as far as I was concerned, we were taken to a Chinese reunited center where we were tried to sell everything

I found it fascinating, especially the prison tour, the tram was unique when going up sit on the right side to me it looked like the homes were slanted 🤣. The view at the top is spectacular.

Dim sum tasting was very good. Would have liked more time at the peak and to have had the option to go to the observation deck. Would have also liked to have known ahead of time that we would not be finishing the tour anywhere near our pick up location.

Thanks for Jason’s guide. We had a good time. The places we visited are pretty nice. Although the weather was hot, but we enjoyed the cruise trip, love the views from Victoria Peak.

A fine way to see a number of sights in Hong Kong. You could do this on your own but it would probably take two days instead of a long afternoon. Victoria Peak and the tram ride are not to be missed

We last did this trip over 40 years during our honeymoon. We returned and it has changed so much. Do expect a long queue. We waiting around 30 minutes to board the tram. Views once you reach the top are amazing. There is now a shopping mall at the top and several restaurants. A really enjoyable expewrience.

We had an absolutely fantastic tour in Hong Kong with Jackie, and he easily set the bar for the best tour guide we encountered throughout our entire trip across China. If you are short on time or want a seamless introduction to the city, this is the perfect tour to cover all the major highlights of Hong Kong in a single day. Jackie did an amazing job from start to finish. He is incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing fascinating insights while keeping our itinerary perfectly on time. Beyond his excellent guiding skills, this tour is an exceptional value—having the tram tickets, ferry tickets, and a delicious meal all completely included made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We highly, highly recommend booking with Jackie!

As always, the quality depends on the people. Our guide Jacky was very attentive, shared many anecdotes, and made the tour very interesting. And comfortable thanks to the bus that took us from one point to another.
