The Queen's Staircase is a walkway of 66 steps in Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas. It was carved out of solid limestone rock by 600 slaves between 1793 and 1794 to create an escape route from the fort above and is a major landmark of Nassau
The fort was built in 1793 by Lord Dunmore to protect Nassau from pirates

Fort Montagu is a small fort of four cannon on the eastern shore of New Providence Island Bahamas. Peter Henry Bruce oversaw the construction of the fort that began in 1741 to defend the British possession from Spanish invaders

5.00I wanted my family to experience a one of a kind tour of Nassau Bahamas and Parish did not let us down at all. From responding to my numerous of questions within 24 hours, meeting us at the port on time, learning about the history of Bahamas, taking us to all the best spots to take memorable pictures, and taste a variety of sample delights. The list goes on and on!! I would have to say this was the best Bahamas tour I've taken. Parish provided my family of 15 our own private tour in his comfortable air conditioned van. One of the highlights of our tour was witnessing a government official being escorted by police down the street. You WILL NOT go wrong with booking this tour and having Parish as your personal tour guide. This will be a trip my family will never forget. It was a pleasure meeting you Parish and I can't thank you enough for the WONDERFUL experience you provided for my family. We TRULY had wonderful time....Don't hesitate at all booking this tour. The 5 star reviews are accurate 100%.

5.00This was an awesome tour! It was exactly what we were looking for. Parish was the best! This was an awesome introduction to The Bahamas, and seeing/learning things that you normally wouldn't if you just stuck to the typical tourist hot spots. I can't say enough good things about Parish. He was so nice, fun, and interesting.

5.00We had a wonderful tour of Nassau a few days ago. We were picked up right on time right where you exit the cruise area. It was just us on the tour and we were asked if there was anything specific we wanted to see. We stuck with the original itinerary as we were unfamiliar with the area but the offer was nice. Parish is very friendly and professional and also has great knowledge of the island and it's history. It was great to be able to see more than just the area around the port. I absolutely recommend this tour if you are looking to explore the island.

5.00This tour was perfect for hitting the historical and cultural highlights of Nassau and Paradise Island. Parish was an excellent guide and photographer. He was attentive to all guests and was able to personalize our drop off in the shopping district, which was appreciated.

5.00Highly recommend Top Tier Historical & Landmark tour in Naussau! We are a family of 4 (included 2 teenagers) from Ontario , Canada who was travelling on a MSC cruise. This 2.5 hour tour was a great addition to our port stop. We feel lucky to have secured Parish as our Tour Guide. Ask for this lovely man! He is a very kind, attentive and highly informative gentleman. (Added bonus- he was familiar with my home province of Nova Scotia since he attended Acadia University). He fronted many questions & we learned lots! I appreciated his priority in taking family photos with my phone. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Take him up on going to Montagu Beach - it's so beautiful! Lastly, you will never regret supporting local and buying the 6 pack rum cake (pina colada flavor my fave!). Try the conch fritters along the way too!

5.00Parish gave superb services throughout our tour. He clearly identified several historical landmarks and events. He made sure our group stayed together and didn't stray away. He instantly remembered our names. I would definitely use his services again.

5.00We had THE best time on this tour! I was incredibly stressed about the Nassau port day because we have a barely 1 year old and she would need a nap… but I also wanted to ensure my older kids saw the island… and I was fearful of the hot weather all day outside with the 1 year old . It was perfect! We were picked up just across from the port. Turns out it basically was monsooned on this day so we were incredibly thankful to have a warm, dry way to see the island! Our guide also has a young daughter and was so sweet with our girls, helping find extra stops and changing up the itinerary to better serve our crew and adjust to the weather. All in all I think he took us around almost 2 hours longer than slated to (with our blessing) and our 1 year old slept in the car (we brought her car seat) enough to get by for the day between stops! My 8 year old said it was her favorite day and she learned so much! My only regret is not writing this sooner for him! If you’re looking for a great way to spend your day in Nassau, this is it!
