The Queen's Staircase is a walkway of 66 steps in Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas. It was carved out of solid limestone rock by 600 slaves between 1793 and 1794 to create an escape route from the fort above and is a major landmark of Nassau
The fort was built in 1793 by Lord Dunmore to protect Nassau from pirates

Fort Montagu is a small fort of four cannon on the eastern shore of New Providence Island Bahamas. Peter Henry Bruce oversaw the construction of the fort that began in 1741 to defend the British possession from Spanish invaders

5.00Every member of my family thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Parish on our cruise stop in Nassau. Mallery, who has been to half a dozen other cruise ports, said this was her favorite stop yet. He knew how to navigate the island well and gave us plenty of time at each stop. He connected us with The Island Boy at the 66 Steps, who was a wealth of historical information, and knew as much about this historical stop as anybody on the island. I would recommend booking with Parish to any of my friends visiting New Providence Island.

5.00Parish is very knowledgeable about island history and a genuinely nice person. since it was new year's day there were traffic jams everywhere, he was flexible and got us to all the places that were open and added some locations that were interesting. we had a mix of elderly and young people in the group and he kept everyone entertained and made sure everyone was comfortable getting around. highly recommend.

5.00We had an amazing time on our Bahamas Nassau tour! Parish, our tour guide, was incredibly personable and friendly and he went above and beyond to make the experience special. He shared fascinating historical details about the sites we visited and made sure we had plenty of time to sightsee, take everything in and never feel rushed. Parish was also great about taking pictures for us which we really appreciated. The fried conch was amazing! We highly recommend this Parish as your guide.

1.00The tour felt very rushed. We were meant to go to fort montague and fort fincastle but we werent taken there. We were just asked to wander around the sights on our own. We felt that we basically paid for someone to drive us around and we had to ask many questions about the history before getting answer. I don understand why most of the review said is very good. Go book with other people

5.00Time well spent with family and our awesome tour guide Parish. He was punctual and the sprinter style van was adequate for a group of 8 with room to spare. The van has a/c. Parish took the group to historical sites and explained the how-who-when of the island. The tour was well worth the price outside of the ridiculous overpriced cruise ship tour excursions. Parish took his time with everyone and answered questions. Humble bredren. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the island and the city of Nassau. Will take this tour again when I return back to Nassau. Thank you Parish for such a great time.
