The Queen's Staircase is a walkway of 66 steps in Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas. It was carved out of solid limestone rock by 600 slaves between 1793 and 1794 to create an escape route from the fort above and is a major landmark of Nassau
The fort was built in 1793 by Lord Dunmore to protect Nassau from pirates

Fort Montagu is a small fort of four cannon on the eastern shore of New Providence Island Bahamas. Peter Henry Bruce oversaw the construction of the fort that began in 1741 to defend the British possession from Spanish invaders

5.00Time well spent with family and our awesome tour guide Parish. He was punctual and the sprinter style van was adequate for a group of 8 with room to spare. The van has a/c. Parish took the group to historical sites and explained the how-who-when of the island. The tour was well worth the price outside of the ridiculous overpriced cruise ship tour excursions. Parish took his time with everyone and answered questions. Humble bredren. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the island and the city of Nassau. Will take this tour again when I return back to Nassau. Thank you Parish for such a great time.

5.00Parish went above and beyond to make our tour on the island memorable. He taught us so much history along the way and picked the best spots for our family. He told us about the history and importance of the places we visited as well as many places along the way. His directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The tour was the highlight of our visit to the Bahamas. Parish is an exceptional tour guide!! 5.00Nice tour with nice guide. It was a pleasure having our guide take us around. Only negative was it was very hot and AC broke down in van. Obviously not his fault.
