The Popeye isn't conventionally wheelchair accessible BUT if patrons are prepared for 6 steps up, over and into the boat with handrails it is possible. The Skipper will lend assistance. This may be difficult for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
Seats are assigned as general admission with a capactiy of 48 passangers per boat. Avaliablity will not be known in advance of the cruise time. Popeye operates on a 'first come first served basis'.
Subject to favourable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or time

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

3.00It was OK but nothing really exciting... very few nice stuff to see... same for the story telling with ongoing "jokes" and all... I was very much stressed because the guide was looking at us while talking and not driving the boat "straight forward"...

5.00We had some time to kill in Adelaide before flying back to the UK. This trip was ideal. We had a very pleasant time on the river Torrens. The captain gave a running commentary throughout which was very informative. Thoroughly recommend the trip.

5.00A very enjoyable cruise on the River Torrens with excellent commentary by the captain with lots of information. It was quite enjoyable watching the city pass by as we motored up and down the river. Very relaxed style to take in all the views.

5.00The staff and Captain were incredibly welcoming! I appteciated they put our pram aboard. We thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing tour and the fascinating information shared about local places and history, along with old photos that brought the past to life. The Popeye is comfortable. It was a treat to grab an alcoholic beverage for myself and a juice for my child. My child liked being invited to sit in the Captain’s chair, and the highlight was blowing the Popeye’s horn! Highly recommend this experience to both locals and tourists, it’s truly one of the best parts of this beautiful city.

5.00A cute little trip up the river talking about all the local landmarks. Captain and host were lovely. My highlight was seeing the little ducklings and their mothers along the way. The only minus is taking people back to the original dock to drop them off halfway through the cruise, so you go back to the beginning again. Either way, I highly recommend and the value is definitely worth the money.
