Climb the amazing Mt Toubkal (4167 m) and explore some of the most spectacular places in the area such as the Imlil Valley, Toubkal Massif and the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch.
Toubkal can be climbed on a two day trip departing from Marrakech. An extended 3-day trip gives you the opportunity to take things a little bit slower, which means more photo breaks, more one-on-one time with your guide to learn about Berber culture and traditions, and more opportunities to take in all the sights, sounds and smells of rural Morocco.
Climb Jebel Toubkal on a popular 3 day trek and explore the most spectacular valley of Imlil and the Toubkal Massif.
This is the best 3-days-long mount of Toubkal trek for beginners to reach Morocco's and North Africa’s highest peak. Toubkal is of course the most desired destination of mountain trekking enthousiasts.

Early in the morning you make your attempt to the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our trail takes us up the north cirque, crossing the river above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the scree and the altitude may make walking quite difficult at times. The views along the way are amazing, breathtaking and make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the summit you will enjoy stunning views across the surrounding landscape. From Toubkal summit there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. Tough climb, need proper training esp if coming from low altitude. 3days better than hurried 2. Mule ride going down as option to save knees and time. Hard shoes or boots is best for rocky & morraine-y terrain. Dont underestimate the peak esp on bad weather.

We spent an excellent three-day stay in the Atlas Mountains with Elhoussain. Elhoussain picked us up in Imlil and accompanied us on our way to the highest mountain in North Africa. During the tour, we not only gained a small insight into Moroccan culture, but also a closer look at everyday life in the rural regions of Morocco. During the hike, Elhoussain responded excellently to our needs and even shared some of his previously acquired dates with us, as we have too little food in one day. He is highly recommended and a big thank you goes to him!

We definitely had the best time ever with Elhoussian!! We travelled to Maroc in february 2021 and got the contact of Elhoussain. Literaly from the first minute to the last we enjoyed his company and his interesting mountain stories. El Houssain is clearly a very experienced mountain gide who has been raised in the mountains and still enjoyes to be there every day. He is a very supportive and empathic guide who takes the safety of his clients serieously. After the climb of the Toubkal we did another two-day hike with El Houssain and enjoyed it just as much. Because of this guide we had the best experience in the atlas mountains and we will keep these beautiful memories forever. El Houssain became a friend and we will definitily come back one day to climb other mountains together. Thank you Ibri! Bisous Camilla & Tina

We had a wonderful and magical time with Hamid and El Hussein. We did not believe in ourselves to live this ascent to the top. But thanks to their company, we were able to overcome many obstacles and to surpass ourselves. A pleasant atmosphere was quickly established between us, until the summit. Not to mention the mental support and the vibe of Hamid who played an important role in our progress as a group. Personally I can't imagine changing my guide for my next climb. Highly recommended !!

A unique experience. We were guided by Hamid, a local young guide, with a lot of enthusiasm and mountain experience. He was able to adapt the rate of ascent very well in each section. During the three days, Hamid knew how to leave our space and at the same time explain histories and aspects of both mountain and Berber culture in the area. He also took advantage and informed us of possible alternative routes or alternative organization of the initial planning of the 3rd day, which we loved and with which we could take more advantage of the experience ending up knowing more corners of the Imlil Valley. Although it may seem a little expensive compared to mountaineering practice in Spain, I think it was all quite square, since you get the round trip by taxi, each and every meal in different shelters of the tour cooked at the moment by a local cook, the supply of bottled water, the 2 nights of shelter or Riyadh according to the chosen route and also the bearing of large vults in Mula if necessary.

Elhoussain is just super cool as a person, and that makes the whole experience. He is fun, knowledgable, considerate, supportive (after all, you climbing a mount and safety is important), open minded, easy-going and cares that you have very pleasant experience. We have been climbing Toubkal mountain, and there’ve been few situations where his help was super important Also, he was singing and dancing with us :) Not just a great guide, but a good company to be with. Highly recommended
