I took this tour in March 2025. The views were amazing. I had enough time to visit these beautiful places. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Incredible place to visit. Carcassone is just what I always imagined a medieval walled city would look like. So amazing how it was built. A UNESCO World Heritage site. Bus trip was great. My only problem was no internet so I could not download the audio tour.

  • I absolutely loved...

I absolutely loved Carcassonne—it’s a must-visit destination! Important to note: This tour was only a minivan ride to the site. Entry to the UNESCO-listed Carcassonne is completely free for everyone. However, the tour did not include any discounted tickets for the castle, and the driver and visitor center staff were unaware of how to access the audio tour. As a visitor who doesn’t speak French, I found communication challenging. The driver was friendly but only spoke French, which made it difficult to get key information. The only tour operator that I briefly spoke to before getting in the van repeatedly told me to meet in front of the castle at the end of the day. However, this was incorrect—the pickup spot was actually somewhere else. It’s possible the driver informed the French-speaking passengers about the change, but I never received that

The fort and village are beautiful but it really is a tourist trap . Nothing to do apart from eat and buy gifts. We went up on the ramparts and decided to do half then have a coffee, however we were then told we could not re-enter. No fault of Viator who just dropped us there from Toulouse

Great trip to Carcassonne, a beautiful medieval city with a great castle within and very tasty food available everywhere within. My only criticism is maybe too much time to kill for a solo traveller.
