We signed up for a 2 hour walking tour with Viator and we were assigned a tour guide named Eva. The tour price was €300, and we were very disappointed. Eva was not engaged and was unable to answer basis questions about Toulouse, its history, and culture. She took us to a church but didn’t even bother to come inside with us. We could have done better by taking a self guided tour with our own map.

A fine way to get to know Toulouse’s history and culture, as well as get an understanding of the modern Toulouse. Our guide Shema was excellent and made the tour well worth the time - knowledgeable and friendly - would rank her in the top 1% of guides!

We enjoyed our tour wit Marco very much. We saw a lot and learned a lot about the history of Toulouse and Occitania from Marco. We saw city hall (impressive) ,the Capitole, the Cathedral of saint-Sernin, Sainte Marie, the river front, Pont Neuf, Fondation Bremberg, and other points of interest. Marco brought all to life with histories and interesting stories.

We had a detailed and extended tour through Toulouse with the wonderful guide Jean-Louis. He is a born and bred local and shared an unrivalled depth of knowledge of the city. He took us beyond the main attractions and into backstreets, delivering valuable information and a real passion for his surrounds. Highly recommend.

Our guide was a nice guy and very affable but I wouldn’t say we learned much about Toulouse. The highlight was the amazing market in centre ville but I think we could have skipped paying for this tour and just wandered ourselves. We did get cheese tasting and foie gras tasting. Anyway, book with caution. If you want to learn a lot about the city, this isn’t for you. If you just want to hang out, then it’s fine.

My tour guide Mael was excellent. We get to know the most important sites and historic moments of Toulouse because of him.
