Marche Victor Hugo Toulouse
We'll spend most of our time exploring inside the market, as well as a few local businesses in the square surrounding the market.
Guests over 18 will enjoy at least 2 local wines (usually one white, one red) that are paired with the cheeses that we buy. Non-alcoholic alternatives available with advance notice.
The tours ends with a substantial tasting of cheese, charcuterie, foie gras and bread - plus a sweet treat for dessert! No need for lunch afterwards. Vegetarians welcome.
We'll do some tastings along the way, with some of our market purchases reserved for our large tasting at the end of the tour.

We had a great day with Danielle! She’s a very warm, fun guide, very knowledgeable about the food and history of Toulouse. The food (and wine!) were spot on. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Amy was very knowledgeable. She started off by talking about the history of the market before expertly guiding us through the many stalls stopping to have tastings and purchase items for us to consume later. Part way though we stopped for a pastry, coffee and traditional bread. We finished at a wine stall where we tried local sparkling white wine and a local red wine whilst consuming charcuterie, cheeses, bread, fruit finishing with a delicious pastry. Absolutely brilliant.

Great information about local food and the history of the market. Expertly guided by Amy round the market whilst gathering items to eat for lunch. Mid way though you stop for a pastry so we were glad we skipped breakfast. Fabulous products, expert guide. Highly recommended. Could not fault anything above and beyond expectations. We love Toulouse.

Wonderful experience. Tania was knowledgeable and charming. The Market is wonderful. The food we tried was out of this world some of the best we have ever eaten from the baguettes to the local cheeses to the charcuterie to the local wines. Would do it again if we find ourselves in Toulouse.

This was a complete market tour that began with coffee and baguettes and ended with a full spread of samples from every interesting corner of the market paired with a delicious sample of regional wines. We learned a ton and loved all of the stories Danielle told us! We will be back again and again each time someone new from the states comes for a visit!

We enjoyed walking the market, Tania and Ali are so knowledgeable and gave us lots of information. We were told about the history of food and wine making. We had a lovely lunch with food bought from the market paired with delicious wine. The time flew by and the cost was reasonable. Would recommend.
