• A wonderful 3 hour Christmas Market tour in Prague

  We did a 3 hour Christmas market tour with Prague City Adventures and loved it. Our guide, Michaela, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, so friendly, and great with our kids. She took us to several local Christmas markets that most tourists would never find on their own, which made the whole experience feel really special. Michaela shared Czech Christmas traditions and told the girls about the Little Mole, a quiet character who is every Czech kid’s best friend. The hand painted ornaments were beautiful, and we loved learning what makes Czech Christmas markets unique. We tried local foods and of course mulled wine. First time for us. Adam wasn’t sold, but I actually liked it and it definitely warmed us up on a very cold day. If you’re heading to Prague, Prague City Adventures is absolutely worth checking out.   Katy was a friendly and knowledgeable guide, who brought us to interesting places and was sensitive to our needs. The only thing that might benefit from some improvement would be the amount and variety of food included on the tour.

  We had an awesome time with Johanka, she got us quickly away from the main market with its crowds and sameness and over to a few more local and unique markets. She was very knowledgeable about the city, its history and the local attractions. We were able to briefly experience the Season like a local for a few hours. We caught the subway and made our way out to places we would not have even known about, let alone visited. She was pleasant, personable and very charming as she led us from one market to the next, pointing out highlights and local history along the way. Since it was only my wife and I, the tour felt very personal and special and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks again, Johanka

  Our family of 12 had a great tour with Nikola! We learned a lot about Czech holiday traditions, had some time for shopping at a Christmas market, and got the chance to try some yummy treats!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our “Merry market Christmas tour“ with Prague City Adventures. Our tour guide, Katy Janouskova, was delightful. She is a Prague native and is incredibly knowledgeable about Czech culture and shared many fascinating Christmas traditions with us. We had mulled wine, traditional grilled cheese on rye bread, hot, mead, and delicious fried potatoes on a stick! She took us to three different Christmas markets that are unique and are not the most common ones that tourists visit. It was fun to visit the market stalls with her, as she was able, for example, to tell us what the most traditional Czech Christmas ornaments and activities are. Throughout the tour, she related interesting aspects of The Czech Republic and her experiences growing up here. This was our first full day in Prague, so it was especially valuable to tour the markets with her as she gave us many hints about navigating our way through the city. She was also a font of information about good places to eat and other things to visit during our stay here. She was kind enough to email us several good pictures that she took of us during the tour. • Humor and a Love of Christmas

  Our guide was wonderful she was cheerful and loved sharing the different traditions of the country as well as how these might contrast to our own. She picked out special locations as requested. She provided guidance for our return at night to see the lights and helped us under the underground metro which became are go to to see all the area has to offer.
