At the top stands a fortress, with a series of carved stone terraces, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the people of the Jungle. Then you have the train to Aguas Calientes, upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Machu Picchu

This day after breakfast we go to the bus station and go to Machupicchu and we will see how spectacular the citadel of Machu Picchu is, "old peak", considered a jewel of Inca architecture: with neighborhoods, squares, houses, agricultural areas. , paths, observatories, etc. Built on one of the flanks of the old mountain in the middle of semi-tropical vegetation. Maras Moray Tours

Along the way we will observe a large number of llamas and alpacas that are at the mercy of shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful costumes typical of the place; almost upon reaching the top we will see the Vinicunca mountain range (5020 m/16,466 ft.). Arriving at this point, our guide will explain about the orography, the ecosystem and the color of the mountain. After that, we continue towards the Red Valley, the name is due to the special pigmentation of the earth that has a reddish color due to the abundant amount of mineral, this path will be more special because perhaps we will be one of the only groups on this route, We return to our mobility and continue to the restaurant where we have lunch, finally we will return to the city of Cusco.
