  I was introduced to Claudio by the owner Casa Beleza in Santa Teresa after the 1st day I arrived. On the 2nd day, Claudio & I walked around Centro & saw my sites. I ended up having lunch as well. If you need a tour guide, Claudio is your guy! (Thx Claudio)

  I give my warmest recommendations for Claudio. As a family of four (kids 11 and 14) it is not an easy task to please all family members during a long historical walk across multiple sites, but Claudio managed this in the possible way. He is extremely knowledgeable and at the same time communicative and an attentive listener, so the entire family had a wonderful day with him, enjoying all the sites and learning about them, the history of Rio, and even contemporary politics. I would easily meet up with Claudio again next time we visit Rio - I expect it would take many trips to exhaust his deep knowledge.

  The trip was amazing. Claudio had a lot of historical knowledge of Rio, and took US to the most exciting places I could inagine, including beautiful churches, a nice café and the imperial palace. I don’t think there is a better guide in all of Rio.

  We requested a walking tour with Claudio, let him know we were interested in art and history, sent him a wishlist and we could not have asked for a better day. Claudio took us everywhere we wanted and more. The tour really fulfilled our wish for inspiration, perspective and awe that comes with travel. We learned so much and it was so effortless to have him map out everything. Claudio is himself an artist, shares his appreciation of art and architecture and has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Brazil and Rio. We had our 7-year-old with us and Claudio was very kind and patient, stopping for ice cream, pao de queijo, chasing birds and the like. I do wish we had begun our stay in Rio with this tour. We would have loved to see more of the city with Claudio's perspective. He loves his city and it shows!

  Claudio was highly recommended by our hosts, so we knew we were off to a great start! He made contact before the tour which was really helpful. It turned out we'd already been to a couple of the destinations he was planning to show us, but he was completely unfazed by this and adjusted the schedule accordingly. Not only was a a mine of interesting historical information, we also talked about Brazilian current affairs and related topics of interested. His English is excellent and he was genuinely keen to share his love of this amazing city with us. When I come back to Rio I will definitely book another tour with him.

  Hello, we went on the full day excursion with Claudio, at all times he took pains to explain with stories the sites visited, showed us photos so that we can see the evolution of each place; his treatment is very friendly and attentive, super recommended! The driver who drove us drives wonders! We recommend it to know details of the city, its history and tourist attractions.

  For our first day in Brazil, we had the opportunity to discover Rio thanks to Claudio. Coming from Paris, it was perfect to have a guide speaking French so fluently. Claudio has his own car. So he took us in différent places very quickly. During the visit, he took the time to give a lot details about the monuments and places we passed by. He also showed sketches of each places(Imperial Palace, Ipanema and Copacabana,...) at different period of time which his a great way to help us understand the expansion of Rio. As an extra, he can also pick you atvthe airport if necessary. Thank you very much, merci beaucoup pour cette journée, Tristan et Sophie
