What To Expect
Explore the hidden life of the forest after sunset in ANURA, just minutes from La Fortuna. On this approximately 2-hour night tour, you will walk on safe and well-maintained trails as your guides help you discover how the jungle changes at nightfall. 5.00DO NOT MISS!!! We had the best experience! The jungle comes alive at night! Our guide was so informative and friendly and we couldn’t believe the eye he had to find little critters in the dark. I saw quite a few night hikes available when searching, and had decision paralysis when trying to find one and this one was highly recommended and it definitely lived up. It was a little off the beaten path which was wonderful. And just getting away from the busy town I think made a huge difference. I love they are creating a reserve, protecting the animals and plants. Highly recommend!!!

5.00We joined the night tour at ANURA during our stay in La Fortuna and had a great time. Even in a short walk, we saw frogs, insects, and a few reptiles. The guide was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly without rushing. The trails are easy and well maintained, making this a great eco-tour for anyone interested in wildlife in Costa Rica.

5.00⸻ Walking the Anura trails was an unforgettable experience. I went with my daughter, and it turned out to be one of the most authentic and meaningful moments of our trip to La Fortuna. This is not a touristy attraction—it feels real, local, and deeply connected to nature. The diversity of wildlife is simply incredible. We saw countless animals, especially frogs glowing with stunning, almost unreal colors in the night. Every step along the trail brought a new surprise. The walk itself is peaceful and easy, yet full of life. And the lake with caimans is something you absolutely cannot miss—it adds a sense of excitement that makes the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for something genuine, educational, and truly memorable, this night tour is a must.
