4.0Overall is good, the guide and the drive are professional. The disappointing part of this tour is the highlight of this tour, the red train, is cancelled.

5.0Autostradale were the tour organisers for this trip and they are lovely. I originally booked the tour for a different date as my plans changed. Viator confirmed the date, ticket was issued for the new date. I arrived at the meet up point only to be told I’m not on the list. The tour guide (lady) rang base in between checking other people in and found we were booked for the next day. Viator hadn’t updated them. We walked away and I received a message from Chantal apologising for the inconvenience and confirmed I am definitely on for the next day. Luckily another tour of mine through viator wasn’t going ahead anymore and I could go the next day. I’m loosing faith in Viator. You can book this tour directly with the Milan bus company. Google them. The tour guide we had was Franco and Marco was our driver. The drive to Switzerland was good. First stop for coffee, pastries and comfort was 30mins. We continued on, got to St Moritz. Lovely view on the way up. We had about an hour and a half in St Moritz. I’m in love with the place. It snowed for us up there too. We caught the Bernina Express train from there. Beautiful scenery. There is nothing wrong with 2nd class. The windows come down so you don’t have the window glare to take photos. You can move freely in the carriage. On our way back we stopped at Tirano for 45mins. We got back an hour and half early to Milan. It was an awesome tour. Franco is approachable and answers any questions you have. His English is good. He’s very informative and points out everything. Highly recommend the tour!

5.0Long day but good value for money. On the train the whole carriage was booked out for the trip only and the view was amazing. Before getting on the train in Tirano there was also a restaurant that did takeaway pizzas enough time while waiting for the train. St Moritiz was nice to look round also. If you want a taster of lake como combining the trip with lake como boat trip if definitely worth it! Our guide was also lovely and managed to keep the trip on schedule.

5.0We had a great time on the trip and the guide was great. Unfortunately the group was not a group i would ever be together with again. Everyone was very rude, uncooperative and made the trip less enjoyable. We have been on many tours and this one was the only one we had issues.
