This is a long day, but one of our Milan Olympic trip highlights. It is awesome. Very well organized. The sites and views are incredible. Probably the only time I'll ever be in the Swiss Alps so it was once in a lifetime tour. Our tour was: bus to Lake Como, boat ride on the lake, bus to St Moritz, 2.5 hours to eat and walk around, Bernina train to Tirano, bus back to Milan. Everything was beautiful. Here's a few tips to make your day the most enjoyable. 1) Try to book a restaurant reservation (or research restaurant choices) in St Moritz so you know exactly where you're going to eat. I think we got off the bus at around 1215pm. So a 1230pm or 1245pm reservation would be perfect. 2) Buy some snacks and drinks in St Moritz prior to boarding the train. We were slightly delayed on the train so we went straight from the train to the bus without an opportunity to buy anything (after the train and prior to the final bus ride). 3) Bring an external battery charger. I brought my power cord but didn't see anywhere to charge on the bus or train. You'll be taking lots of photos so you don't want to run out of battery. 4) Sit on the left side of the train, window seat if possible. You can lower the windows for great photos and the train curves over a beautiful bridge after a tunnel and the left side gets a much better view. 5) The last leg of the trip is the worst. You end the day with a 2.5 hour bus ride on mostly highways. Eat those snacks from earlier, take a nap, take off your jacket and get settled in. Have an audiobook, album, movie, etc downloaded to your phone so you can go airplane mode and save battery. Our day was 715am to 825pm. It was an awesome experience that I would highly recommend.

Breathtaking views and wonderful guide. The Bernina train was very cramped, nothing luxurious as we had expected. Barely enough time at each stop to grab a bite to eat and not really time to explore. But hey, nothing compares to the Alps!!

The train journey seems to be straight out of the story, with the snowy landscapes and being able to open the windows to look out and feel closer still to the mountains and lakes. I also enjoyed an hour and a half in Tirano, where I could taste the typical brasaola dish and Inferno wine. Then an hour in posh San Moritz. There I toured (just watching) its luxurious shops, regained heat with a cup of hot chocolate and bought chocolates. The bus tour included more spectacular scenery and at the end a while to rest. In addition, the guide Lina managed to get the whole group to learn some Italian. Bravo Lina! And brave Georgio and Federico, the bus drivers!

What a wonderful day! It was only one day, but I feel like I saw a lot of Even in the winter when the days are short, we were able to see snow and the mountains. The views were spectacular from the train, as expected, but also from the bus. Everything ran smoothly and the bus was very comfortable - it even had outlets to charge my phone on the way back. We had more than 2 hours in St. Moritz, so I was able to walk all over the village and even walk on the frozen lake. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from beginning to end. In addition to the extremely rude and disrespectful treatment of the guide and the driver, there were also serious comfort problems. My seat on the bus was visibly tighter than the others, making the ride uncomfortable, especially on a long journey. When reporting the situation, there was no attempt to resolve, only dry and impatient responses. Simple questions were answered with irony, and the general atmosphere was of total lack of professionalism. A tour should be valued for the well-being of the passenger, but there was a lack of education, empathy and respect. I do not recommend. Care and comfort are basic — and unfortunately both have left much to be desired.

Hello the experience has not been very good. At first the guide told me that my tickets were not valid until after insisting he checked my name and I was able to carry out the activity together with my partner. Secondly, the activity included the round trip on the saloon train and we have only made one way trip, returning all the way by bus, which has become very heavy. My opinion on the rest of the trip has been correct but I would not say very well so I would not recommend this experience to any friend.
