Hill Of Crosses (kryziU Kalnas)
The Hill of Crosses, located sixteen kilometers from Siauliai city, is an authentic monument of history and religious folk art. This small hill with a collection of over 200 000 crosses is the best repository of Lithuanian cross making art and the representation of unshakable faith and a symbol of resistance against occupation.
Rundale Palace Museum
The Rundale Palace, located just 15 kilometres from Lithuania – Latvia border, was built in the 18th century by Ernst Johann von Biron, as the summer residence of the Duke of Courland. The palace was designed by Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, an author of the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg. In the course of time and political rush the Palace has changed many owners and purposes – it was used as a hospital, elementary school or even a grain storage facility. Nowadays, after extensive and successful renovation process, The Rundale Palace Museum and Garden attracts masses of tourists and is deservingly called a „Versailles of Latvia“.

5.00Great way to combine transportation with sightseeing. Fresh, comfy and air conditioned van for 8 people picked us up and drove us safely there. Alex our driver was also a good guide. All the 3 stops was amazing, but really liked the Latvian Versailles. You then get dropped off in Riga city centre. Do this tour instead of flying or taking the train, you won't regret it.

5.00Without having a car, this tour helped us continue moving in the direction we wanted to travel without missing out on seeing sights along the way. We would have missed out had we taken a train or plane and the stops were worth seeing.

5.00I found this tour when I was considering moving from Bilynis to Riga. We also wanted to go to Šiauliai Hill of the Cross, so it was a great tour indeed. This is basically a pick-up service tour, but you will also be given an explanation at the tourist spots, making it the best tour in cospa. I recommend it.
