What To Expect
Yun Shui Yao Ancient Town
Your private driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby at your chosen departure time. Sit in an air-conditioned and non-smoking private vehicle for a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, the local guide will lead you to the picturesque Yunshuiyao Ancient Village where you will get to know the history and related culture in the area with the help of your knowledgeable guide. Continue your visit to Huaiyuan Tower. Huaiyuan Building is the most exquisite and best protected double-ring earth building. The most striking thing about Huaiyuan Building is that the ancestral hall, which is the core of the inner courtyard, is the place where the children of the family study "Si is the room". It covers an area of 190 square meters. Then head to He Gui Lou which is the highest tulou house in Fujian. It indicates that He Gui Lou has more than 200 years of history as the traditional Chinese rammed earth construction technology had reached its crest. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel and end this pleasant trip.

4.00Yunshuiyao scenic area is a compound which is fairly widespread. The main attraction of course is the five storey building Tulou complex. It has three scenic areas the 5 storey tulou building Hegui,(the Mountain Foot House)which was built with pinewood on marshland, you can experience the vibration when you stem your feet /jumping onto the goose egg shaped walk path. Then there is the Huaiyuan building a double ring circular earth building with kitchen and storage on the 1st and 2nd floor. All the tenants are residing on the third floor upwards. As one follow the river down one can see multiple huge banyan trees which creates beautiful scenic spot for photography. The banyan tree is about at lease 13 century old.There are lots of small coffee shops along the river banks which can spice up your day
