Medellin

This is reflected in the facade, which highlights the archivolt of the main door, the central rose window and two tall towers, topped by a work in glass and copper, so the temple is also known as the church of mirrors. Plaza Botero
Emerged as part of the transformation that took place in the downtown area of Medellín and in the Museo de Antioquia at the beginning of the 21st Century. Its construction entailed tearing down an entire block of buildings in order to recover public space for Medellin’s citizens. Artist Fernando Botero donated the 23 sculptors and the Plaza bearing his name is his largest open air museum.

5.00An exceptional cycling trip with friends where we had the chance to visit a beautiful corner of Colombia safely thanks to our super guide Juan and our escort Victor who both made sure that we never lacked anything (fresh water, electrolytes, protein bars) to allow us to ride with peace of mind on the beautiful winding roads that, at every turn, revealed the splendors of the landscapes and the challenges to be met (legendary repecho!)! Nothing was left to chance, everything was well organized, stops at small cafes and restaurants, the quality of road bikes provided, accommodation, transportation and small gifts! Thanks to Tomas and Marcela de Colombia Cycling, I’ll see you soon for the ultimate Alto de Letras! Thanks again!

5.00We only had two days for cycling in Colombia, and got incredibly lucky booking with these guys. Tomas planned and cycled with us on some amazing routes, encouraging and chatting with us all the way. He also acted as a tour guide, and was full of interesting facts about cycling, but also the city and towns we passed through. Marcela drove the support car, and at every spot had amazing local snacks and drinks waiting. The real difference though was choosing beautiful towns and hotels to stay in, and making sure we ate and drank in all the best spots, which we would never have found- we ate so well while with these guys. We were supplied with fantastic Scarab bikes. If you are thinking of cycling in Colombia, don’t hesitate - these are the guys to book with.
