Experience the highlights of Astoria with our guided tour! Our guided transportation tour offers an overview of the town, providing insight into its rich history, famous landmarks, historic homes, and movie scenes. We'll also show you the best shops, restaurants, and upcoming events, and recommend eateries, museums, and additional tours to explore. Additionally, we provide pamphlets with in-depth details to satisfy your curiosity. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, allowing you to thoroughly indulge your interests.
Our pickup time is 9:30 AM, unless it's a cruise day. On cruise days, we pick up one hour after the ship docks. I will make sure to send a text the day before and when I'm on my way. Pickup times may vary and could be after 10 AM, depending on the number of places we need to pick up from, as Onward Adventures picks up from multiple locations.

What To Expect
Astoria Column
At this 125-foot Column, you will see the fantastic views, listen to the history, smell the coastal air, and take in the challenge of climbing the stairs. People leave this place feeling light, breathing in the accomplishments of yesterday's and today's challenges.
Flavel House Museum
Walk the grounds, see the carriage house and maybe visit the inside of the home.

5.00What an outstanding time we had with Katie and Onward Adventures today on their Tour of Astoria excursion!!! We visited, and climbed up, the Astoria Column...even got to fly small gliders from the top! The highlight for me was the several filming locations, like for The Goonies, Short Circuit, and Free Willy movies. They are very flexible and gave our small group various choices of things to see that interested us most. I definitely recommend touring with them when you're in Astoria!

5.00Wonderful tour of Astoria with Katie. She is very knowledgeable and has fun commentary. We especially enjoyed the tower experience and the street shopping. Her bus reflects the eclectic, quirky style of Astoria!

5.00Brilliant tour of Astoria with our guide Meredith. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with Off a cruise ship and knew nothing about the town so was a real treat (and yes we were given planes to fly and salmon dip!!) to learn so much Many thanks from the 3 of us

5.00Hosted by Bill and Kate we enjoyed a fun and informative 3 hour tour of sleepy Astoria which was well worth doing. Highlights included the climbing to the top of the column and the views up there, visit to the Goonies house and Bill’s salmon dip. Pick up was at the port to meet us off our cruise ship but they also seem to do hotel pick ups.
A fun, informal sightseeing tour.

2.00Actually we received little for a lot of money but what do you want to expect in a place with 10,000 inhabitants also big the community is proud of its new maritime museum , by spending an hour and a half the view on the tower was quite good, an hour in front of what was rebuilt was also not the roar, but the fault is due to the cruise company as the course of the excursion did not properly document in advance, because so I would have actually gone to the place myself and looked at the city sensibly, apart from the guide who constantly confused the historical data. Was quite funny with it

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Katie, Bill & Meredith were excellent guides as they navigated our group thru Astoria. We especially liked seeing the Goonies House and the Iredale Shipwreck. Such a beautiful beach there. We highly recommend choosing this tour over the ones provided by the cruise ships with big crowds. They’re easy to find when you disembark…just follow their video provided.

5.00Wow!! What a great afternoon. We arrived on NCL Our leader set this tour up for around 30 ppl! From start to finish this tour was so informative and fun!!!! We saw many Elk and even saw a whale at the beach. Katie and her husband lead the tour. They showed and told us so many things in our 4 hours together. We are on a 21 day cruise trip and hands down this was my favorite tour and stop!! Katie has made me want to return to this area!!! they even had some very delicious salmon dip!! what a perfect day!!!!
