Tucked into lush coastal forest, this quiet, scenic site features a reconstructed log fort based on the explorers’ own journals. Guests can walk through hollow-log cabins, explore short trails, and imagine life on the edge of discovery. Interpretive signs share how the Corps of Discovery mapped the region, made salt, recorded wildlife, and prepared for their return journey.
