What To Expect
Alfama
This is by far the most interesting place in the city. If you can only do one area, I would recommend you do this. Highlights include: • the best views of the city • the Mourish castle of Saint George (11th century), SE Cathedral (oldest cathedral in town 12th century) and the ruins of the Roman Theater (1st century) • Fado - traditional Portuguese music (although you can hear this in other places as well, this is where the most authentic Fado houses are, from 7pm onwards) • Ginginha (Portuguese sour cherry licor) tasting

5.00We were so lucky to find Pifas for a tour of Lisbon! The only unfortunate thing was that we found him on our last day! He was a wealth of knowledge about the city and has an amazing energy that had our whole family laughing! Our tuk tuk ride was a highlight of the trip and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to get around the city with a fantastic guide. He’s been doing it for years and it shows! 5.00Pifas is amazing! We did a 3 hour tour of Lisbon while on vacation with a large family group. Others in our group also participated in tuktuk tours with other operators, but none were as enthused with their tour and guide as we were. There are so many options out there, do yourself a favor and hire Pifas - you will not be disappointed.

5.00Pifas was an awesome guide for our tour of Alfama. He was knowledgeable, professional, funny, and passionate about sharing his love for Lisbon. He has a 6 person tuk-tuk (electric, so quiet making it easy to hear him as he drives), and he took us all over Alfama, Graca, and Miradoura sharing his insights with us. We stopped at several fantastic viewpoints, went into a church and a museum, walked through the oldest section of the Alfama where he pointed out good restaurants and the best places to hear Fado. When my wife mentioned wanting to buy some cork products, he made sure to point out the best place so we could come back. I wish we could have had his tours of all the neighborhoods of Lisbon. He was very responsive to my inquiry and had good availability. Highly Recommend!

5.00We saw Pifas advertising his tour when we got off our cruise ship in Lisbon. We wanted to do a tuktuk tour so we decided to go on his tour. The tour was catered to what we wanted to see and how long we had. We ended up doing a two hour tour which was great. We were taken to all the main sites and were able to look around and take photos etc. Pifas had great local knowledge and the tour was really interesting. I'm glad we were lucky enough to get him.

5.00Great tour, Pifas is a fun, capable guide and accommodated us by dropping us off right at the castle. TripAdvisor, on the other hand, is a little silly asking me for at least 100 chars so here you go!
