5.00My college-age daughter and I booked this tour for 10am on a Saturday. Our guide, Sebastion was absolutely fantastic. He explained the six regions (seistiere) of Venice and then took us through the Cannaregio. We learned about the history of Venice as we walked, including the Palaces, Ghetto Ebracio, churches, and markets. At the end of the tour he gave us a choice of how to conclude. We asked him for a lunch recommendation in the Cannaregio, and we enjoyed cicchetti at a local bacaria. Sebastion was friendly and knowledgable throughout the whole experience, and he even kept us in the shade most of the time. I would recommend this tour to anyone who'd like to see a slice of Venice through the eyes of a native.

5.00This was probably my favorite tour in Italy despite walking in 96 degree weather. Tomasso was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable taking us to areas off the beaten path and immersing us in the history of Venice . It was great to escape the heavily touristed area and learn about Venetian life. He even made a restaurant reservation for us at the end and it was clearly a local place as all the gondoliers were having lunch there and a small wedding party came in to celebrate. This tour is a must!

1.00I paid for this tour and followed up twice to check whether I was confirmed for it which I was. In the end, they never sent me the details of where to meet or any information about the tour, but still charged me and now won't refund the money to me. I would not recommend this tour or using Viator either.
