This was a really great walking tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us places off the really busy areas. The walk through the Jewish Ghetto complete with the history was the highlight.

Very informative and interesting tour! We visited parts of Venice that I had not experienced during previous trips, and it was great to learn more about the local history. Our tour guide, Sebastian, was wonderful and did a great job answering our questions. The group was smaller, and since we focused on the less-trafficked areas of Venice, we didn't experience crowds. The headsets were helpful and were very easy to set up and use throughout the tour.

Michele was a wonderful guide! She had so much information about how Venice was built over the years and how it continues to grow. Her stories of legends and customs were entertaining and she shared her love of Venice. Highly recommend.

Nick gave us a wonderful tour mostly of the Cannaregio district which is the residential district in Venice and also very quiet. He spoke English very well and we also had headsets so we heard him very clearly. Also gave us good recommendations for dinner and gelato.

Relative to the cost of $70 per person we found this tour a little disappointing. While it was nice to see off the beaten track places (about two miles of walking in total) the stories and commentary were at times long winded and not captivating. We did a later tour with another provider and found it much more to our liking and a lower cost.

This tour gives great insight into the daily life of locals along with historical context. Tomas was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions and share about his life growing up in Venice. We highly recommend this tour if you are looking for something beyond the typical Venice tours geared toward first time visitors.

Our tour guide Michelle (Mikayla) was excellent. This tour takes you off the heavily traveled streets and alleys. We learned so much about the history and neighborhoods of Venice. This was an easy walking tour. I definitely recommend this tour.

We loved this tour with Lorenzo. If all you see in Venice is the Grand Canal, St. Marks, Rialto, etc., with all the crowds then you haven't seen Venice. This tour took us to quiet neighborhoods where the locals live (and there are no crowds) parks/green spaces (yes, they exist) and the Jewish area (the origin of the word "ghetto", without a negative connotation) and some off the beaten path churches. Very interesting. Lorenzo grew up in Venice and was able to provide interesting insights into Venice's history and what it is like to live there. This tour will give you a more complete understanding of Venice.
