5.00Despite constant rain, the enthusiasm of our guide could not be dampened. Nico led us through the less touristy streets of Venice with interesting insights, tidbits and personal reflections. His passion and interest was contagious. Well paced and for the right amount of time. We really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommended.

2.00One week tour of Italy starting in Rome travelling by coach visiting Pisa for the afternoon before stopping two nights in Florence. On the road again to Venice visiting Verona before staying two nights 15km from Venice. Choice of three hotels poor, lacked basic facilities and too far out from main areas. Had to eat across road from one hotel at burger van as no restaurant, no bar, nowhere to get a drink, no kettle in room or seat on toilet. Choice of restaurants on extra trips (extra payment) not great and food poor with fixed menu and no choice.
