A Disappointing Experience

1.00I have gone on many Viator arranged tours and up until now they have been great but this particular tour guide was extremely disappointing. First she was 10 minutes late. Second she was unsure what she should do with our headsets and had to go back to the office and check...so all in all the tour started 20 minutes late. I don't understand how this is considered professional. And because of the late start AND the fact that our pre booked tickets had an entrance time on them we were rushed. I wish I could get a refund as this tour was not worth it.

5.00This is a really good way to see the areas of Venice a little away from St Marks quarry and the more touristy areas. Well paced, full of facts about the history of Venice, this was a great way to familiarise ourselves with the area. Michaela our guide was lovely, very friendly and engaging. The trip to Murano was an added bonus as well! Well worth a visit!

5.00Giovanni was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw some lovely parts of Venice that we would not have otherwise seen and learned about its history. Gave a very different view of Venice that would make us want to come again. Would highly recommend.

5.00What a wonderful tour. Our guide was Matteo and he was incredible. Wonderful insight on Venice, lots of fascinating history and he pointed out so many interesting things that I had walked right past in previous days. 5.00This tour will not show you the typical tourist attractions, however, if you want to see less visited canals, alleys, etc., and get recommendations for places where the locals eat, this is a good tour for you. We also visited what was historically the Jewish ghetto, which was quite interesting.
