3.00The highlight was the Jewish quarter but overall I thought Matteo could have dived a bit deeper in his commentary. It was very light. I wanted more history and longer and more thoughtful explanations. But he was friendly and affable and engaged with the people on the tour.

5.00Excellent tour, Michela our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and polite, highlighted everything from WWII, Mussolini and Napoleon to modern day venician life. I wouldn't recommend if you struggle with bridges as we crossed many, other wise well worth the trip.

5.00Definitely the best tour of Venice we did, “The Real Hidden Venice”. Our leader Giorgia was passionate about “her”city Venice where she was born and grew up. We got lots of history and a few stories thrown in, while wandering past quaint cafes in narrow streets and alleys, through a park close by a school where students were celebrating their last day before a few months summer break, and alongside small canals. It was fascinating to learn Venice’s history, so we could then understand how that history shaped the city and its residents today. Giorgia has the perfect personality for this tour, is enthusiastic, happy to answer questions that were asked and even though many of the group were older, paced everything perfectly. She suggested several places to enjoy for lunch after the tour, and offered other places to explore while in the central Venice. Thanks Giorgia, you were the highlight of our time in Venice.
