What To Expect
Galatina
Galatina is a real gem of art, history and traditions. The wonderful Basilica of Saint Catherine of Alexandria is second only to the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi for the presence of many frescoes inside, which were created by Giotto's disciples. Other monuments to visit are the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, and the ancient "courtyard houses" and the buildings situated in the historic centre.
Otranto
Otranto, one of the most beautiful coastal villages in Salento.The town of Otranto is full of history, and every corner highlights the passage of different civilizations, including the Romans, the Byzantines, the Ottomans and the Aragoneses. You will have free time to visit the splendid Cathedral, the Church of Saint Peter in perfect Byzantium style, the Castle, the Towers, the mighty Pelasgi Bastions and the Walls that surrounded the whole of the ancient city.

5.00It was a wonderful tour covering four beautiful towns around Lecce. We were a small group traveling in comfortable mini vans, which made the experience much more personal and enjoyable. Our guide, Stefano, was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring about our comfort. On top of that, he was extremely friendly and sympathetic. From the beginning to the end of the tour, he gave us just the right amount of information, shared beautiful stories, and made every place even more meaningful. He also gave us great tips for our free time, which helped us make the most of each stop. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If we ever come back to Lecce, we will definitely join another tour organized by Stefano and his team.

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic day getting to experience Salento. Stefano is a pleasant and knowledgeable guide and he did a wonderful job of showing us around. The trip was well organized and well balanced. We saw so much and covered a lot of area so it was really good value. We were picked up just after 9am and Stefano explained how the day was going to go. We drove to Galatina first. It was great that he guided us at first and then gave us ample free time on our own. He sent us off well prepared and ready to explore independently. This was the routine for all our stops. We drove to Otranto next, followed by Leuca where Stefano recommended some places for us to buy lunch. We ended in Gallipoli and then drove home where we were dropped off around 6 pm. Stefano told us so much about the area including history, stories, information about traditions and food and was always ready to answer questions. This was an outstanding tour... I would highly recommend it!

5.00Stefano was very informative, attentive, and accommodating. It's off-season so many restaurants were closed but we made the best of it. The pastry shop that is famous in the region was perfect - the pastry was SUBLIME! Unfortunately, I can't recall at which town it was located.

5.00We had read great reviews about Stefano while looking for tours in Puglia online, and yesterday we found them true. He is friendly, always smiling and a great guide, with accurate information about each place. He speaks Italian and English. The tour was very interesting; we arrivedin Gallipoli just in time to watch the sunset.

5.00It has been a perfect excursion with Stefano ,magnificent guide, who speaks Italian and English perfectly and who makes himself understood very well with little you know of those two languages, as well as being very friendly picking us up at the door of the hotel and taking us back to it. The times of the excursion, the explanations and the directions for a well-used trip have been impeccable, as well as being very friendly and pleasant. Fully recommended.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Stefano touring the Puglia and Salento area. Maybe it was the time of year but we avoided the crowds and soaked in all the beauty. Stefano was very knowledgeable and described the 4 villages we visited. I would love to spend more time in this area—hopefully in the future! We had great food, too. I recommend this tour.
