We pick up travelers from hotels in Guatemala City and Antigua Guatemala. The drive from Guatemala City to Chichicastenango takes approximately 3 hours, depending on traffic. Along the way, we can make stops for restroom breaks, ATM use, snack purchases, or simply to stretch your legs. Your comfort is our priority, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey to this vibrant destination.

5.00I booked this tour for my husband and I for our weekend getaway. It was worth every penny. Rubin was AMAZING tour guide. He was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was lovely to have a tour guide who is past about what he does. The vehicle was comfortable and clean. The drive was about 3 hours but it went fast because we stopped at a wonderful restaurant for breakfast. Plan for a long day. We left at 7:00 am and didn’t return until 7:00 pm. Chichicastenango was everything we expected and more. Panajachel was beautiful. The only feedback I would give was that I wished we had more time to see Panajachel and the lake. We ate a buffet lunch at a beautiful historic hotel in Chichicastenango. We spent about an hour or so there. I would’ve preferred to skip lunch and head over to Panajachel which was an hour away. We spent 20 minutes in Panajachel which was sad because the town had a lot to offer. With that said, we still enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this tour. Thanks for the wonderful memories. 5.00This was such an amazing excursion , our guide was extremely knowledgeable and let us in on a lot of information that allowed us to understand the culture , the environment, and everything that we came across with that day!😁 He was very funny , bilingual , and interactive 😁 I would highly recommend this excursion to go to the market and to the lake ! 👏🏼👍🤩

5.00WOW! I can not say enough great things about this tour with Carlos as driver and Ruben as guide. Ruben was full of fascinating information and so friendly and kind. The drive to the market was 2 hours but the break was nice and it went by quickly learning about Guatemala. Ruben made the trip so memorable by taking me (I was the only one on the tour) to the best stops and photo ops in Chichicastenango. The drive to the lake was beautiful and although the day was cloudy it was still a beautiful afternoon and delicious lunch. I did a few other tours in Guatemala and this was by far my favorite! Gracias a Carlos y Ruben :)

5.00This tour was amazing!! My guides, Winston and Astrid, were so nice, knowledgeable, and professional. The drivers were also fantastic. I learned so much about Guatemala and Mayan culture. I also took some great photos at Lake Atitlan and Chichicastenango. This tour is great for families, couples, and solo travelers. Awesome experience!!!

5.00I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to learn about the history of Guatemala, the Mayan Culture, or simply see more of the country. I absolutely loved everything about this tour, it was well timed and thought out. My tour guide Jenny was fabulous, she really personalized the tour to me and gave great recommendations! I am SO happy I did this!
