  Gail has worked out a very nice tour for us and has even taken into account some of our wishes. She told us a lot about the history and landscape of Orkney, which was very interesting. It was a very nice trip. If we come to Orkney again, we would book Gail again. Many thanks again to Gail for the beautiful tour!

  Gail is a long time Orkney local who with deep knowledge of the island and a desire to show off its many qualities. She knows all of the back roads and showed us much more of the island than we had expected. And she gave us many ideas for the rest of our stay.   Communication with Gail prior to our trip was very helphul. She met us at the time agreed and made clear that we could craft the tour as we liked. She was knowledgeable and friendly and very attuned to our interests. Those included added stops in Kirkwall at the magnificent medieval St Magnus Cathedral (and a great local lunch pick), the Italian Chapel and a special textile artist's studio. We enjoyed our day together and really feel like we got a good sense of Orkney. Gail knows her way around the island and smoothed a lot of corners off a special day, .Would definitely reccomend

  We were booked with Gail at Scenic Orkney. She wasn't well so she lined up another driver, Karen at Davidson's cab. Karen gave us an excellent tour to Skara Brae, the cliffs, and ring of brodgar. She shared her knowledge and history of the islands. After our tour, Gail checked back in with me to ensure we had a good tour. That is great customer service. I would book with them again anytime.

  What a fabulous day we had! We managed to fit so much into the day, but didn’t feel rushed at all- We were able to explore multiple sites at our own pace.   We had a great day with Gail, she gave us a great tour and took us to all the places we wanted to see. She’s lived in the Orkney Islands for many years so we really got to learn about the people and get a feel for Shetland life.

  Just had the most amazing day with Gail from Scenic Orkney. This was something I had been looking forward to for a very long time. Gail did not disappoint! She managed to fit in everything we wanted to see and more, allowing us to explore at our own pace and enjoy the beautiful island. I have an interest in wildflowers and Gail went to the trouble of helping locate and name flowers for me. We loved our tour of Mainland and would definitely recommend Scenic Orkney for a personalized tour.
