The Tower of London holds nearly 1,000 years of royal history, and this tour gets you closer to it than most visitors ever go. Timed entry takes you past the ticket queues, and an expert guide brings the fortress to life through stories of royal betrayal, political intrigue, and centuries of captivity.
The tour moves through the Tower's key landmarks: Traitors' Gate, where prisoners once arrived by boat; Tower Green, site of Tudor executions; the Jewel House, home to coronation crowns and the Cullinan diamonds; and the Bloody Tower, where two young princes disappeared in 1483.
The tour's signature moment is a private 15-minute audience with a real Yeoman Warder at the King's House, an area closed to the public. Ask questions, hear royal gossip, and snap a photo with one of London's most iconic guardians.
For a shorter visit, the Express option covers the guided tour and Crown Jewels access in 90 minutes, without the Beefeater meet and greet.

Very instructive history and storytelling by our guide. He made the tour worthwhile. The Crown Jewels are beautiful, and make a visitor struggle to understand the British Monarchy and its God given role in— ?chopping off heads, accumulating incalculable wealth from the peasantry and colonial imperialism, warring around the globe…. It makes one ponder human traits, which will always persist. P.S.— loved the ravens.

Ben was spectacular, and very knowledgeable. A true historian and keeper of the stories of the Tower of London. A true gem among the Crown Jewels.

Ben Nolan was fantastic. Great story and history teller without causing boredom. Tracey, the Beefeater, was so sweet and admirable.

Our tour guide Warren was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us great tips to make sure we were able to use our time wisely to see all the Crown Jewels and other items of interest as they are not all located in one spot. He told us several stories about the history of the Tower which we enjoyed very much. I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. She was able to provide us with very interesting facts throughout the tour. You could really tell she was passionate about her work. Please note. The tour is all conducted outside on the grounds of the Tower of London. You stop at all the key points and learn about what occurred there. The last stop is in front of the building that houses the Crown Jewels. You go through that on your own time at the very end of the tour. The meeting point is very easy to spot. When you first enter the grounds of the Tower of London, there is a big souvenir shop. You meet in front of it. This is well before the area that requires a ticket to enter the grounds.

My wife and I went on the Tower of London Guided Tour with Dan and had a wonderful time. Dan possessed a wealth of knowledge about the area as well as its history and was extremely personable. We learned a ton and followed up on some suggestions Dan gave us to dive into the experience even more after the tour. Highly recommend the tour to even considering it!

The title was a little misleading, Meet and greet with a Beefeater and Crown Jewels. The tour guide is not a Beefeater, ours was with a very nice and knowledgeable woman. There are Beefeaters walking around that you can seek out and greet and take a picture with on your own. You are also able to view the Crown Jewels on your own after the official tour has ended. All and all, still a very enjoyable tour.
