Jo was a fabulous tour guide! We were literally the first people to go into the Tower of London and see the Crown Jewels. Jo knew the strategies of where to go when so as to avoid crowds. She was full of fascinating information about the Tower, Westminster area, and the Royal Family. She has a wonderful sense of humor. My daughters (mid-twenties) adored Jo! We learned so much history, and she made it fun and entertaining!

Our guide was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job keeping our group on track. However, the structure and value of the tour itself were disappointing, especially given the high cost. We had very little time inside the Tower of London, which was unfortunate considering the entry fee included in the tour price. It would have been ideal if we could have returned later to explore more fully, but that wasn't an option. Additionally, the pace of the tour was extremely rushed—we had to walk very quickly between each site to stay on schedule for the boat ride, Changing of the Guard, and other activities. While the guide managed this well, it made it difficult to absorb much of what we were seeing and learning. Another factor to note is that when I mistakenly booked the wrong day, I had to pay over $200 to reschedule for our family of four, which added to the overall cost and made the experience feel even less worthwhile. In summary, while the guide’s efforts were excellent, the tour itself felt rushed and did not provide enough time to truly enjoy or appreciate the sites visited, especially for the price paid.

This tour is a must do. Getting in first gave us ample time to take in the Tower of London without having to queue behind lots of people. Our tour guide, Michael, was absolutely fantastic. We learned SO much and he knew when and how to get us in the right spots at the right times to see the guards up close. He was nice, and funny, and so knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour with Louise was awesome. We had so much fun, and having done the tower of London before, I can say that the private experience with the Beefeaters was worth booking this tour. The early entry allowed for an efficient experience, and the views were spectacular without having to fight the crowds. Our guide was not only informative, but also incredibly entertaining, giving us an authentic London experience that we are hoping for.

We met at the entrance of the Tower. The guides have flags you look for. We didn’t need to go get tickets which was a bit confusing as the voucher told us we needed to but Natalie (our guide) was out there 30 mins early and told us we were good. We had two adults- my husband and I and our 6 year old daughter who was VERY excited to see the Crown Jewels. Natalie got us in line with the three others in our group and we were the first ones in. We saw the opening ceremony which was fun, heard some good history about the tower and Natalie told us where to go and what to do first because the lines for the Crown Jewels could get long. We had 50 mins to explore which was just enough time to see the jewels and go through the white tower- pretty quick. Our daughter got a picture with some Beefeaters, went through the store for a necklace and we were out to the exit to meet Natalie for a quick boat ride towards the changing of the horse guards. We got some photos with the guard and horse and went through to see the actual changing. It was good and kept our kiddos attention as she really likes horses. Natalie told us some more info which was great. We then walked down and saw where King Charles lives, and down to Buckingham Palace. This is where the tour ended. If you have kiddos be sure they are ok walking over 12,000 steps (for an adult) in that time period. Our did well, but is a bit on the mature side for a 6 year old. Natalie was a wonderful guide. She does a lot of different ones so be sure to ask her about them! We highly recommend her!
